I had the worst experience I have ever had any were as customers service very poor on giving information or attending their customers I had to be walking around asking other employees from other departments to attend me and they would tell me they didnt work in that area not only that when one of the associates shows up they attend me very rudely becouse I grabbed a paint gallon from the counter nobody was ever there when I had a question about the paint and when he shows up out of no were he aproches us in a unfriendly manner and tells us the paint wasnt for sale we had to pay full price I understand that the paint couldnt be sold becouse the price tag wasnt on it yet for the sales price but the way and overall experience on how me and my family were treated was not so inviting and very poor costermer service I felt a slight discrimination because it took so long for us to get aproched by anyone seems like nobody wanted to untend us and when I spoke to the manager about my experience I didnt feel understood I felt more like he didnt really care what I had to say and didnt believe me in my overall experience He """"""quoted"""""" this is Vallejo we dont discriminate here with a smerf on his face """""""" as a manager he is supposed to listen and make his customers feel welcomed back and concerned about their needs and making them feel understood also not go against or question his customers when they have a concern and I did not feel any type of consideration for what I had to say even though I keeped my self together after all the frustration I had from my experience here I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE AND ALSO TELL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AND THE WAY I FELT FROM THIS SITUATION not only because of the lack of customer service but also the management and the way I was approached I will stick with LOWES FROM NOW ON I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES THERE SAD THAT I DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

The store is full of underpaid employees that give you a thumbs up for buying lots of the store products. It gives off a very "I had to fight tooth and nail to get this minimum wage job and Id better smile to make it look like I appreciate it." feel from the employees alone and it looks like the store culture is suffering. Either that or their high turnover rate, which suggests poor business/corporate practices. Aside from the general unhelpfulness of the employees, they no longer give veterans discounts at the store. You must now have been discharged as a disabled veteran in order to get the discount that theyve been offering for so many years before. I had a fellow veteran who had been discharged with an injury offer to use his discount for me and Id pay him cash for the transaction; they didnt even let us split the order up. Finally, after going through about 5 minutes of hassle with the cashier over getting my first order cancelled so that my fellow veteran could use his VA card to get the discount, the cashier tells me that nothing that I bought, including an consumer product, not commercial, would be offered at a discount because it is "no longer on the list of approved discount products". The good news? Lowes still offers the veterans discount. I advise all people to head to the Lowes up the road instead of this place. Their store is much cleaner, more organized, and they stay more stocked on the products that people need. Ive had several issues with this Home Depot not having items stocked as well. The employees are not given good incentives to make the store successful. Several times I have tried to return unused items only to be given a hassle and an attitude; "I have to put this stuff back on the shelf you know!"

is sad to know we have to rate one star to be able to send our review and very disapointing to make time to write this WE BEEN HAVING A NIGHTMARE TRYING TO ORDER THE WINDOWS FROM OUR HOME, THEY CLICK AND CLICK FOR OPTIONS THAT YOU DONT WANT AND NEED. THEY DO NOT LET YOU KNOW ABOUT OFFERS, WE EXPLAINED THAT WE WANTED BETTER WINDOWS FOR NOISE, THEY SAID OH no!! IS TOO EXPENSIVE... IT WAS ONLY 13 DOLLARS FOR WINDOWS.. I BEEN THERE THREE TIMES TO ORDER THE RIGHT WINDOWS FOR US, IT WAS NOT CLEAR FROM WHERE OR THERE GOING TO OPEN, NOT NOTICE ABOUT ANY SALES, THE COLOR WE WANTED THEY SAID IT WASNT AVAILABLE AND IT WAS. THEY SAID THAT WE CAN BUY THEY WINDOWS THEY HAD AND CUT THE SIDES. CHUCK KROL DOES A GREAT JOB IN THAT DEPARTMENT, I WOULD GIVE HIM MINIMUM A DOLLAR RAISE FOR HIS EXCELLENCE, ATTENTIVE, GREAT COSTUMER SERVICE...I FEEL SORRY FOR HIM THAT HE HAS TO CLEAN ALL THE MESS IN THAT DEPARTMENT... I CHOOSE NOT TO GO THERE ANYMORE

Not only is this the worst HD Ive attended but it is one of the worst stores Ive ever known. Customer service is fulled with resentful, rude, clerks with attitude who simply waste your time. Floor service is either non-excistant, or they have no idea what they are talking about (I am an engineer). I live near Vallejo and a few years ago decided that this home depot (Vallejo) isnt worth the trouble and drive 15 min out of my way to the Fairfield home depot which has a complete staff that is "normal", friendly and helpful. AVOID VALLEJO HOME DEPOT AT ALL COSTS. Forget the Vallejo CA store. I felt like I was in a de-militarized zone or in the Katrina Looting parties. Im giving it one star since there is no option for zero stars!

Im a hard working proud American, Im in the culinary trade for 16 years plus. I share that to paint the pic that I have not the slightest clue when it comes to anything handy man. Recently my wife and I have updated our kitchen, most employees unfortunately do NOT want to help you! Thank you lord I ran across and gentleman named "Chris" in appliances.... straight to the point big help! Even decided to help me instead of going to break! I have come back to him a few X now. Every time he patiently helps me while I stare at the shelfs like a dum dum. Thank you! Chris in appliances Home Depot Vallejo.... you will see me again LOL! Somebody promote this man! Nate merrill,

I frequent many local home depot stores for my project needs and Vallejo definitely is the worst. I called the evening before I needed over $1000 in lumber ready for a job by 9:30 the next morning. I was told it would be ready for me when I arrived. I arrived at 9:30 and it was never pulled. The manager told me that it had to be paid for before it was pulled, never was I told this or I would have paid for it. I waited an hour and a half for the materials to be pulled and loaded! The store manager was trying to cover his own screw up by making up a policy that is only in effect for his store. This is not their policy for Contractors! I will take my business elsewhere.

They have a great selection of merchandise, but getting someone to help you load it into your car is hit and miss. A few fantastic people work here consistently though. Josh has helped me load the car on several occasions over the past year or so. The parking situation is also difficult, as mentioned by other reviewers. You can rarely get a spot close to the store front. In the event you have to load your own car, that kinda sucks.
