This newer Cal Fresh is inferior to their Pismo Beach location. Since the Foothills area is quite pricey, I suppose they do raise the prices. The Deli offerings do not look as well prepared as their other store. While some employees at the cash register are very friendly, it seems that some of the Deli staff are not quite knowledgable about their products. There is no inside dinning & you have to go outside to eat. The upper-crust College crowd both works & shops here.

My new favorite market--lots of fresh stuff, without the stinky smell of one of those "natural markets" A great combo of organic goodness and the brands you expect to find at a market. You can get your Skippy P-nut butter, or grind your own from fresh peanuts! And dont miss the deli with lots of great cheese, meats and pre-cooked items for a quick dinner. Their tortilla chips are the best in town too!

Great variety in what ever you need. Soda selection is amazing... but, overall everything in the store is just way over priced. I found the exact type of product I was looking for at Cal Fresh, went over to another grocery store and found it for almost $4 cheaper. The staff is friendly! I was greeted by a young man named Richard, and was helped by Tyler. They were awesome!

Love the Deli. Staff are helpful and friendly !! Only negative is the fresh produce ! Very small produce department ! Almost no convenience food like cut up fresh watermelon and other melons and fruit salads ! Some customers are elderly and could use convenience foods other than deli foods.

All the things you love about California Fresh in SLO! Be careful you get a good quality fish/seafood, or confirm what days that stuff comes in fresh - overheard a conversation about how the fish was going bad from some of the employees. As always, just be a smart shopper.

This is probably the fourth market Ive seen here in the last four years. Same everything pretty much. Its clean, comfortable and convenient. The only problems with it are that other markets nearby are cheaper and there is nothing about it that really sticks out as amazing.

A smaller version of the Pismo Cal Fresh. Staff is wonderful, great coffee and juice bar. Outside seating and a fresh sushi bar. The liquor department is a whole different room, so many craft beers!! Nick always has the best new beers coming in. Cant beat the selection.

Super clean, super friendly, and great selection for such a small store! Gourmet brands to store brand prices. It is so nice having a coffee/juice bar, fresh sushi, and deli! Makes being a busy mom easier now that they are in the neighborhood!

Oh my goodness, California Fresh is looking pretty bad. Meat in butcher department very dry and old looking. Packaged meat dismal to say the least.
