Sensory overload with a jazz soundtrack. Intentionally provocative art. Not for the politically correct or popsical owners. Ive read stories and reviews of Voodoo Chile and its owner, Jimi Fukushita, that made me want to act right and stay inside the lines when we entered the funky red craftsman (popsicle owners see note on door). With that fresh in mind, about 30 seconds in, I dropped a breakable something-or-other and broke it. Mr. Fukushita didnt even look up from his phone. When we were ready to leave, I presented my purchase and asked to him to add it to the item that I had broken earlier. I paid the bill and apologized. As I was leaving, he handed me the packet of insense that my daughter had been admiring earlier and said " Im sorry, too."

Went in with some friends to check out his vinyls, was polite to owner, intrigued by his collection of glass, set my (sealed, dry, and isolated) shaker bottle of water on a desk to read a german songbook, he took the book from my hands and gave me my bottle and told me to go home. Overpriced, most likely not locally blown glass, and an immense set of Hitler merchandise. On the door it said "no, no, no, Popsicles." Saw nothing about sealed beverages, he was a creep too.

The owner was extemely nice and knowledgeable about the music he sells. He even played a couple of albums for us when we were trying to decide album to take. The store is filled with awesome art and vintage clothing (mostly womens). He welcomed us back anytime.

Guy seemed very creepy, Did not try to speak to us or be polite at all. He had a large amount of nazi art and Hitler books. Everything was really over priced as most of it is used goods.
