Im a big fan of the Wine Shop in Dilworth. My wife and I frequently send wine to clients and we find they are able to handle this request with ease. They have a very consultative approach to recommending wine and will help you explore new varietals if you are so inclined. In my opinion, its easy to find a great bottle of wine north of $60 per bottle, but the the holy grail of wine buying is finding a great wine under $15. What I love about the Wine Shop, is how careful they are when adding a new wine to the shelves. Every wine at Wine Shop has earned its place. We buy our wine exclusively from the Wine Shop.

I live 1 minute from this store, and visit 2-3 times a month. Normally I get exceptional service and the selection is stellar. However I walked in today to icy glares from two middle aged workers. I understood that they were already helping customers, and I did not require any help from them. When I said hello to both men I got blank stares in response. I picked out my wine and brought it to the counter and the employee was miffed that he had to ring me up and walk away from the gentlemen he was helping. I will gladly drive 5-10 minutes away to a different wine store.
