Moore Brothers is my favorite source for good wine, good wine advice, and good wine education. Ive been a fan and "unpaid sales rep/publicist" for almost 10 years - Dave and Greg had me at "hello-taste this." Whether youre a seasoned oenophile or a beginner who needs an informed, friendly wine-food pairing suggestion that fits your budget, (and without the snobbery), this is the place to go. The whole staff (NYC store too) is friendly and knowledgeable. Get yourself on the mailing list - Gregs emails on weekly specials are fun to read and you dont want to miss a weekend tasting event. Wear a sweater if you go into the store - its 56 degrees in there year-round - just like your wine fridge should be!

Located inside a normal looking office building is probably one of the better wine stores you will ever come across. They have an amazing selection of small batch wines and the place is staffed with people who really know their stuff. John was very helpful giving me a very thorough tour on my first visit. I think the rest of the reviews speak for themselves. These people really care about their wines. Pro tip - bring a jacket, the entire shop is kept at optimal wine storage temperature.

Ugh, I hate to be a party pooper, considering all the other reviews, but the wine I bought after receiving advice from one of the owners was very disappointing. We had it with the food it was supposed to be paired with, and me and my hosts did not get any pleasure from it. Another bottle of red I bought was so bad that we ended up using it to cook with. That was a 23 dollar bottle of wine!

Living in PA with their ridiculous restrictions on getting wine shipped into the state, I was very happy to find the Moore Brothers store in New Jersey. Great selection, knowledgeable staff, and very helpful. I love going there, and have had good luck sending my non-wine drinking wife there to pick up a case for me and as gifts. Awesome place.
