Just moved into the area and thought they had a descent selection. I engaged in conversation with a gentleman there (not sure if owner or just employee). He explained that he was originally from TN and that they had the most cost competitive prices around. In fact, for the gallon size "American Honey" priced at $33. I stated to him that it was $40 in other areas and that they had a good price. 1 week later, I revisited and they had incresed the price of this product to $40. The response from another worker there when I inquired as to why the increase, he stated, "when they find out people like a particular product, they raise the price". Also they dont restock certain products often enough for the damand...They have nothing that I regularly buy now. Suffice to say, I dont approve of your business model! I will buy at another store...even if higher price!

This is the local liquor store closest to my house since they closed the one in flowery branch by the Kroger on hwy 53. Still they are always friendly sometimes they act suspicious of me for no reason and I do not understand that. Note that I do not drink alcohol personally so I dont go there very often unless picking up something for someone else.

This place is awesome, the best beer selection in Oakwood/Gainesville, the only place around here that has a bigger selection of good beer is down in Winder, if youre looking to try a new brew definitely check this spot out. The staff is always really helpful and friendly, this place is a go to package store.

Been there on numerous occasions. Rude and very poor selection. The only reason they remain is location. Go to Gainesville for real liquor stores.
