This is the store where cashier STEALS your money by scanning the same product twice. BE VERY CAREFUL. I have experienced this twice when I went up there. (Remember, you have not right to question, once you leave the counter or store)Today she did the same thing and when I asked "why did you enter the price of the product which is not even on the counter?" She said "so that I will not have to scan again when you put it here". She thinks people are stupid. Second thing, manufacturers suggested printed retail prices are hidden by putting another higher price sticker on it and thus charging more. When cashier realized that she has been caught charging double, she started breaking glucose biscuits by throwing biscuits in my shopping bag. I immediately stopped her and she said she was sorry. This was my last shopping at Lotus. I do not need to feed owners family with my money.

My review is for their Phoenix AZ location and NOT Mesa AZ. For the last two weeks they dont have paneer - I have been giving feedback to the cashiers who are some high school going kids. Price is on the higher side and you wont get everything you want(brand as well as items). But there are not much options in Phoenix metro area for Indian grocessory as well as indian restaurants. If you have moved/relocated from some major Indian metro area(tri state, LA, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, Dallas)-you will be disappointed with the overall choices of Indian grocessory stores in Phoenix. Regarding Lotus - its another option compared to Asiana and it looks more Indian than Asiana. But its little bit pricey and that too odd brands. Provided the feedback during the last 4 visits - but i dont think that owners are listening to the feedback.

They keep stale snacks, bad smelling, stale frozen vegetables though they were not expired but smelling horrible when I opened them at home. I assume that they are not maintaining the proper temperature for them. When I went to return the snack packet the cashier behaved very rudely. First she denied without even looking that it is not from this store and then she behaved as if I was lying. The same day I bought some produce including two bunches of methi leaves. Next day I realised that it was full of black small bugs in that. I had to trash both bunches. I would never go there again. Not worth spending a single penny over there.

Drove 25 miles one way and went for shopping two weeks ago and bought couple hundred dollars worth of grocery. The store is not even close to what pictures are posted online. There were hardly any fresh vegetables, whatever vegetables were there they were old. We got toordal Pachika brand 4 pound bag, dal had hole and has black bugs live inside the dal. It was expensive dal, not cheap. There was only one person in the entire store, even get was kept disappearing constantly , no one was there to help in aisles. Britannia soji toast were stalled. I would not recommend this store to anyone and will not be going there ever.

Lotus Market is a very large, comprehensive Indian grocery plus it has a small restaurant where you can order things like samosas and other lunch items. I was very pleased with the selection. They had fresh okra at the size that my husband likes - something that is difficult to find in other markets. The checkouts are modern and speedy and were staffed by people who appeared to know what they were doing. It was very easy to follow what was being charged on a large screen at the front of the counter so I have to disagree with the earlier negative comment about the checkout.

This is the best Indian store in Phoenix. Their product selection is insanely amazing. I have never seen these many products in ANY Indian Store, and I have been to many stores. Their staff is most friendly. The cashier made my day when she gave my kid lollipop to make him stop crying. Their prices are also really good, best in Arizona. Those in west valley dont hesitate to come down, its worth the drive. One suggestion I would like to make to store owner is that please use better quality T-shirt bags to put our products.

Absolutely abysmal in every sense of the word. The selection was sparse (they have five small rows) and none of the rows are organized at all. The spice section was the worst of them with coriander in with turmric and ginger in with chili powder. Thats not the worst of it, the staff if you can call them that were no where to be seen. I waited 20 minutes at the check out and I was the only customer in the store. Certainly wont be coming back, if I could give this place 0 stars I for sure would.

Sorry to say but, today this is happened second time. Please make sure the date before you buys any product from this store. Most of the stuffs are expired and if you dont check the dates, take it home and bring back in your next visit they wont change or return your money. Owner/staff are very rude when you show that expired date on their products. Normally, I dont have time to put review or comment on it but, this is happened two time to me and few of my friends too.

Lotus deli...best food ever.. The food is made by I think 2 aunties.. And as I have observed along the years if there r ladies in the kitchen then the food is always home like.. The chapatis are fresh with ghee.. Bhindi masala is best.. And all the chaat items are good too... I have given 4 stars as the store does not have essential s like milk.. And some masala which I want.. And they are out of it every time... Dont know why they dont go the extra mile...

Very big store, but i still dont find a lot of stuff that was available in Asiana Market in Glendale. Asiana has just 3 isles for indian stuff, but still they had more brands than Lotus. I do have to note that they do listen to the customers and they did try to bring in more tea varieties, which was good to see.

Yum! Im a big fan of Indian food and found this place during a recent work trip. The lady at the counter was helpful and made a suggestion for what I should order. I had samosa and a chick pea curry with a fluffy bread to wrap it up in. I took it to go. I will be back next work trip ;-)

All vegetarian grocer. Great selection of fresh Indian produce, including many hard-to-find fresh vegetables, as well as an expansive selection of dry goods. The Lotus Deli inside has a selection of freshly made curries available to order, as well as mango and rose flavored lassi.

The review is for the food/ cafeteria in the Lotus market. We are quite critical about street food/ chaat and they did not disappoint! Aloo chaat, vada pav and Dahi puri were spot on. This is a place for foodies who love spicy and veggie food. Will be back

This review for the produce section. Bought a water melon and when we sliced into half when we took it to home, stale water gushed out of it - which messed up the whole kitchen floor. In short the fruit was rotten inside and we have to throw the whole fruit
