Went to buy a treadmill and asked the three salespeople at the door for help. They said I had to wait for a particular person, no problem, I waited. The salesman showed up and was told I needed help, but he rolled his eyes and made a face as if he had no interest in helping. I said forget it. Im not there to convince them to sell me $1000 treadmill. I left and went to Dick Sporting Goods down the street - a MUCH Better Experience!

Costumer service was awful! While purchasing one of my item, one was missing a tag, the cashier had to call multiple times to get a price check, but no answer. I waited, while the line got longer. Frustrated, I took it upon myself to go and grab another pair with a tag. Surprise surprise, on my way, I see most of the workers chatting away left to right, while I hear the phone ring. Seriously I don't get paid to do your job!

Pretty standard as far as Academy Sports goes. Their prices are fair, which is significantly better than average prices at several competitors. They also often have clearances with great deals. This Academy has a smaller Kayak and Kayak Accessories selection than some Academys Ive been in. Their fishing equipment is mostly freshwater, gun, camping, and other outdoors activity selection is good.

This Academy Sports + Outdoors is the best sporting goods store in the area. The store is very clean, well stocked, and the employees are very helpful. There are also price checkers throughout the store so you can scan items to find out the price quickly. This is really useful because they always have great sales and/or clearance deals. Highly recommend shopping here.

You can find very good discounts at the store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They really try to keep the store in good order. There are some star members that are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. I was looking for something in particular that my physiotherapist recommended for me. That staff member knew exactly what I was looking for.

Ive always had great service and the one time I had with an awful cashier; a front end manager stepped in and handle it before things got worst. I dont understand, if you dont like your job get another one that you like.
