Go to Lowes on Winterpock and Hull instead. I had a horrible experience this past weekend and will never return to this store. After waiting over an hour in appliances for someone to help me buy a fridge, washer and dryer, someone was finally able to assist. To take advantage of a special discount I had to open a Home Depot credit account. Once we got to the front, the system was unable to apply the discount to the purchase. We waited while the employee contacted an off-duty manager who was willing to come in and assist. The returns and customer service area was also overwhelmed with people needing assistance due to lack of staff or trained employees. I watched numerous employees ask the off duty manager who came in to assist US get bothered by employee requests and customers needing managerial help at the counter. The manager then began assisting all of the other customers and essentially forgot about us. We walked out and decided to spend our $3000 at Lowes instead. To make matters even worse, the mosquitos were biting since the customer service area is right at the front door which has a lot of foot traffic. The funny part about all of this is that Home Depot never called me to apologize or say they have the system issue figure out. They had all of my information there on the purchase form. I still dont think they realized we had walked out.

I lived near this store for 10 years, it was the only store I would go for any home improve stuff. But lately
I would rather go to lowe near wood lake. For a reason that they are more helpfull. At least they would ask me if I need help when they walk by me. Got this home depot. Some time they would say hi to u when they walk by u. Few year ago, they was my favorite place to shop.
One thing u better watch out if you don't already know, if you return item with no receipt "either u lost or forgot it with you" they are not give you full amount as they currently sell in the store. Lowe's @ wood lake don't do that.
Now the only time I go to this store, because the replacement part I need that I got the original part from them "like filter etc." and Lowe's don't have it.
I hope the other location is not as same as this location.
And customer service. About 75% of them are not very polite "smart ash "

I purchased some damaged bags of mulch and garden soil and ask the clerk for some plastic to cover the back of my van so the dirt would not spill all over the floor her reply was we dont have any plastic I said just something to cover floor floor she said once again we don`t have any I said well then take the items back I dont them she said go to customer service and another employee heard what was happening and he said I will get you some plastic and he did and helped me load it. A clerk that will not assist a customer should not be waiting on the public. I will not shop at this Home Depot again because Lowes is also close and friendly employees. And yes Home Depot can have my credit card back I will not be using it.

I cant recommend Home Depot for appliances. Ordered and scheduled delivery for a certain day and it never showed up. All total I wasted 6 hours driving back and forth (1.5hrs each way). Store staff, the delivery company and HD corporate made multiple contradictory statements over several days to the point I dont know who to believe. Bottom line it cost me 5 days off work (dont ask) and lost earnings. One guy did apologize as I was leaving which was nice. Home Depot is great for screws/nails/bolts, paint, building materials... things in stock on the shelves/down the aisles you can load yourself. Appliances? Eyyy. Not so much. Oh and the final kick in the nuts? Its damaged. (See pic.)

Purchased a double oven from them. Paid in full. Scheduled delivery two months out but was assured my oven was being held since I had paid. When it was almost time for my scheduled delivery I was informed by Kitchenaid thay the oven was discontinued and out of stock. HD didnt even know. Manager would not replace with an equivalent model for the same price. Wanted me to pay $1k more. Went to another HD that would work with me. Lowes said the first thing they would have done was offer an upgrade for the same price. This store cares nothing about their customers. Just know that going in. If you have a problem, they wont do the right thing.

Homer was useless tonight, website said they have three (ladders) in stock, but the only thing in the rack is something that was used hard and returned. First two employees walked past saying their shift was over when I asked for help, the third offered me a deal on the dented one that looked like it had fallen out of a truck.... When pressed for where the other two ladders where another employee pointed out a pallet full on the top rack, but quickly added "the one you want isnt up there, its not worth getting it down". Thanks for reminding me why I should have been talking to a locally owned store guys, Ill remember next time.

I have a business that requires products from nearly every Home Depot department. My people won’t be in any of them until after the “holidays.” Home Depot elites are trying to rewrite American history and change its culture by censoring the word “Christmas.” Ticking off 95% of the population? I wouldn’t call that evil, but I certainly wouldn’t call it financially astute. Merry (censored) John D. Midlothian, Virginia

Dont buy appliances at Home Depot. If it dies (like my $700 washing machine) they only give you 48hrs to return it.......only two days!!!!! How am I supposed to test an appliance in only two days?!?!?! And there is reason for that, cause my washing machine broke down in two weeks (Maytag, google it, Im not the only one). Stay away from Maytag!!!! Stay away from Home Depot!!!!!

I had to deal with the Tool Rental department it was very slow. Randy D was the only staff there and he appeared very laid back not caring of peoples time showing poor customer service. Once I came back in the morning it was totally different the two women who were helping moved with a sense of urgency.

Usually have what I am looking for. Cant speak well for tool rental dept. Went there to return a belt sander I had rented the day before, 5 people behind the counter but only 1 helping customers. Other 4 doing what? Not very impressed with thier service.

The Depot has been pretty good for the items Ive needed. Only one item needs to be discussed. A pine shrub was defective. Bought 2. One is doing very well. Will return the defective one for another.

Pretty sad state lately. They dropped so many products, that Im at Lowes all the time looking for something in stock. If I wanted to order it, its called Amazon home Depot management!

Its a standard Home Depot: Big, orange, and if youre lucky, youll find people to help you, but its faster to learn where everything is and find it yourself.
