I have a lot of tattoos from a lot of local artist. Someone suggested Vinny I figured why not. I like getting tattooed by new people new experiences. I needed him to touch up an old outline that someone had done years ago. He had this whole epic plan of what he was going to get done. Needless to say it took him almost 6 hours to do an outline that shouldve been done in max 1 or two and he charged me almost 600 for something that was already there. I have tattoos from some very famous tattoo artists, timmyb, Chris busching, Danny Lepore, and Nikko hurtsdo just to name a few. Other then Nikko they all charged 1000 dollars for the day. Each spending anywhere between 6-12 hours on my skin in one sitting. With a completed tattoo. So for 600 dollars at broken heart I got an outline for 600 that the Vinny kept saying was the greatest thing ever. Honestly he may have been awesome at one point. But really feel like Ive been ripped off years after the fact. If u want any decent tattoos stay away from anything in keyport

I have been going to Broken Heart Tattoo in Keyport NJ for 10 years now because, quite simply, they are the bests artists around. When i waws young i would bounce around form shop to shop but after one session with Josh, i would never want to go anywhere else because i know i am getting Tremendous work from a TRUE artist! if you are hesitant because the wait time may be longer than a wack "walk in" shop, dont be. the wait is worth quality work from real artists. I rarely see anyone with Tatts better than or equal to the quality of my tatts.... I will never go to another shop/artist.

In the past 6 years I have been to 3 different tattoo artists along the shore towns of Monmouth County. It wasnt until last week that I found Broken Heart Tattoo in Keyport. Josh and Vinny run a fine establishment . I was fortunate enough to get a Friday appointment with Josh. If I could give him a 10 STAR rating I would. My tattoo is amazing .He was friendly , funny and talented as hell . I highly recommend this place .

i have been going to josh for six months and ive gotten four amazing tattoos. he just did a coverup i never imagined would look as good as it does. all the artists there are very professional and friendly as well i enjoyed talking with them while i was getting tattooed. Im definitely going back and i would definitely recommend my friends.
