If youre a hunter, they will butcher for you. Bring it dressed and quartered and in a cooler with ice in top. The place is nice an open, very clean and theyve got a very adventurous variety of meat. By Adventurous I dont mean strange meats. Theyve got a whole bunch of really cool and very interesting sounding marinades. Theyre meat is all very high quality, they offer local seafood (which Im always a fan of supporting local businesses) and theyve got it all VERY nicely laid out. They even sell beer and wine there. Technically, you could go buy all of your dinner needs there and just go straight home and cook it up! They also offer catering which is pretty awesome for a butcher. You know when they cook for you that the food will be literally as fresh as you can get it aside from doing it all yourself!

Excellent steak tips! Everything I have tried here is fabulous, and all of the workers are pleasant. We go here almost every week. Every time I have a large party I come here and get one of their special packages that include a selection of steak tips, chicken breasts, ground beef and sausage. It is perfect for a large group because there is something for everyone and everyone can find something they like. The steak tips are really incredible!

Southern Steer has great quality meats. The marinates are so varied that no matter what youre looking for, there is something for everyone. Beef or chicken. They have a very friendly staff who are always willing to serve. They know what customer service is. The monthly food club is both great fun and you leave with a months worth of prepared foods. Walk in... "Manager" ..have you been here before? "Me" ..no. Explained everything in detail. Like talking to a friend. Not pushing a sale on you. But, if you love meat. He is a very good friend. Hands down, best customer service I have recieved. Shay the manager was great. It was not shopping. It was an experience and a lesson. Great place. Highly recommended!

What a treat for Palm Harbor to have this fabulous butcher. We went for the first time today, the place is spotless, and the staff super friendly. We had the house marinated chicken tonight, and it was amazing. Cannot wait to try the Buffalo Chicken sausage, Chicken Florentine sausage, and the Argentinian Beef tips we also purchased.

Wow! The Argentine marinated beef tips are to die for! Not only that but they had marinated chicken breast and sausage on sale for 2.99/pound! Grass fed gmo free and youre supporting a local business. Ive found my new favorite place to buy meat. Not to mention the lady was very helpful and informative help me with my selections.

Best meat market in town. My wife and I moved over here and received a flyer and changed the way we cook forever. The only thing needed is a grill and a appetite. The artesian marinade is definitely the way to go if your looking for the most tender best tasting steak youll ever eat. No more dining out for us.

Fantastic butcher shop with a wide variety if meats that have tons of different marinades, staff is super friendly, and the store doesnt have that weird smell that most meat markets have, which might be my favorite part. I drive all the way from Busch Gardens area to shop here.

Besides great Beef and Chicken, they have a freezer with Lamb, Rabbit, Buffalo, Ostrich, Duck, and Marrow Bones. This freezer is my favorite place. It is a store with many tempting good things to eat.
