Its not ok how we cant just go in and give id and the ticket signed and get our check written out to us on the spot. If you want to be unfair and pay everyone differently and take a different amount of tax from each person thats fine but its not a good excuse for 6 to 8 weeks. Technology is advanced enough you should be able to hand over a check on the spot. Some people are homeless or broke or just really need the extra monru or break. And they deserve it right now because they gambled there hard earned money and they won so they earned it. You dont have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to receive our money every day do you! Just like shutting down at night so we cant cash out but we can still buy scratchers 24 7

Winning is an exciting experience...that is until you try to claim your prize winnings. All the excitement of winning turns into a frustrating waiting game. What is the point of having so many district offices to "better serve" us when we cant actually come in personally to claim our prize. You should be able to come in, show your identification, and walk out with your prize in your hand. 8-10 weeks is an awfully long time to wait for something you won fair and square.

Went to sac. office and they couldnt tell me anything but wait six to eight weeks before calling a number to see if I won. But every store I went to turn it in machine says file claim form. Wont say how much or what else to do. Why cant I get answers to my questions? I want my money without hassle. And it was a scratcher ticket.
