Ive been dealing with all the amateur radio supply stores since 1981 and with few exceptions I usually deal with R&L , first off home QTH is Winchester, KY and if I order before late afternoon my item will arrive the next day. The prices as a whole beat the others Ive even found what I thought to be the lowest price at another store just to check R&L and find it even fifty dollars lower. The staff is extremely helpful , numerous times Ive called to order something not knowing the part number and just explaining the item theyve searched their computer or ask other staff to run down the part for me and since the interstate connector was put in the store is a whole lot easier to access. R&L has been a great asset to this wonderful hobby and I wanna 73em for a bright future

The service I received there was exemplary! The people are VERY friendly and quite knowledgeable. I purchased a radio which turned out to be malfunctioning out of the box. They listened to the problem and immediately set up a replacement. However before the replacement was shipped it was hooked up to confirm that it worked before it left the shop. The pricing was the best that I have found short of the "equipment" on E-bay! I WILL BE GOING BACK any time I need gear!! Please use these people, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

I came there from Kentucky to ask some simple questions about my Police Scanner. As soon as I walked through the door, they were VERY rude. I asked if he could help me out and he said "We do not service that brand." I was not there for "SERVICE." I explained the situation of what was going on with it and he says "Sorry I cannot Help You" in a mean voice and walked away. I was going to buy some connectors and other items, but if you are going to treat me like an idiot from the start "SCREW YOU"

The worst people, if you dont belong to their click they wont even deal with u. Went to a interview for job and was told I was lieing about why I did not having a ham license,i was in high school and was going to get one but did not have the money right then for the study materials. I did get one but I never will set foot in that lousy place again... KB8HIU

Been getting stuff here the last 30 years....never a problem...they are honest about the stuff they sell and get your order out quick from 5 thousand dollar rigs to 2 ft coax jumpers...you really cant go wrong...even with used equipment......K9DP

Just bought an OPEK HVT-400B antenna for $59.95 plus free shipping. Everything else was $79 and up with shipping. Wow! If they come through on this and I get it in a reasonable amount of time they are my new favorite ham radio supplier.
