I have been going to Joseph and John at New Windsor Pharmacy for over 4 years now, and I love the atmosphere, the familiarity and the way they are so personable and kind to their customers. Even after moving a half hour away, I still use them for all of my prescription needs. I can assure that any negative reviews posted here are from disgruntled customers who probably do not find pleasure with most companies they encounter. I have never been treated as an inferior, or mistreated. They do their absolute best to accommodate everyone, and contrary to what some have reviewed, I have seen their employees countless times throughout the years and they are all very happy with their jobs and management. I even know of a couple previous employees who moved on to other careers that still go to New Windsor Pharmacy for THEIR medications, and there are plenty of other pharmacies in the area to go to if they were unhappy with Joseph and John. Overall I give them an 11/10, excellent business, excellent service!

I have had many bad experiences with them for years, but today was the last straw. My doctor was going to call in a prescription at 9am Monday morning right after they open. I called at 9:08 to see if they got and to ask them to call me immediately when its ready. At 9:39 and 4 calls later they havent called me. I have left 4 messages. The last one at 9:31 I pushed the option saying I was a doctor, hospital or nursing home, and I still had to leave a message and have not gotten a call back. Im going to another pharmacy. Other problems are waiting forever in line, them not having my medications, saying its ready when it isnt and I still have to wait, telling me they will charge what the mail-order does and always needing them to correct it, which they do, but still. They are very nice people, and they are right around the corner, but I am going to have to drive another mile or two when I need a prescription faster than mail-order.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this father and son slave driving duo! Joe and John are 2 of the most despicable people I have ever come across. They treat their employees like trash (and its apparent on their faces, just look and youll see the abuse they put up with). They treat contractors like they own them, and will make every attempt they can to avoid paying them. The employees have told me that they go through service providers and vendors at an alarming pace, as no one can stand to put up with their strong arm tactics, and belief that everyone should work for them for free. These people are modern day slave drivers, and dont have a decent, genuine bone in their body. They are pathetic excuses for businessmen, and surely they will get whats coming to them.

This is the 1st time I tried this pharmacy, i was having trouble with others and decided to go here, to my avail, i encountered a aimilar problem with my insurance not wanting to pay for the medicine. The pharmacy girl (lilly), without thinking twice called thru my insurance and got what she needed for them to pay or the medicine. And John was also a big help, he really spoke to me and got to know me a little, and explained the medicine well to me. There are few pharmacies that go above and beyond, i would definitely recomend this one to all!!!
