I dealt with Laly in the wallpaper dept on several occasions. Every time she was rude and abrupt. At one point after leaving me on hold for 15 minutes she picked up the phone and said, "I have to call you back" and then hung up on me without ever even getting my name or phone #. This is the first review I have ever written in my life, but I am so shook up right now I feel it is necessary for people to know. When I called back she began yelling at me that "because I didnt call her back right away after determining a price that we would have to start the process over." Meanwhile the ONLY reason it had been a few days was because EVERY time I had called which was plenty, she was either not in, at lunch or too busy to take the call!!! I would not even had mentioned that if she was kind and gracious and willing to take my payment once I did manage to get her on the phone instead of being ANGRY AND IRRITATED and trying to jump off of the phone telling me to just email the information AGAIN!!! I ended up yelling back, "DO NOT HANG UP ON ME!!! YOU ARE GOING TO TAKE MY PAYMENT NOW!!!" Which is totally uncharacteristic of me. Holy Cannoli!!!! How hard should a customer need to work to give money!!! Unbelievable. Extremely unprofessional!!!! (By the way I just want to say the the older gentleman in paint and at the front desk is extremely kind and professional.) I think it would be in this companys best interest to eliminate this bad apple from the bunch before your whole reputation is spoiled!

I visited this Janovic/Benjamin Moore location to have living room drapes custom made. I met with the 2 very indifferent women running the window treatment department. It seemed I was bothering them asking for service. I had a fabric sample they matched & told me they would call the next day with estimates & setting an appointment for measuring my window. They never called back. I called them twice & even visited the store a second time to ask why I hadnt heard from them; each time was told theyd call the following day. Again they never called! During the 1st visit one of them was on her cel & even showed me a picture of her grandson but was vague about the specifics of having the work done. After 3 weeks of no response I reported my experience to the manager who said he had other complaints about the 2 of them

This was probably the worst consumer experience I have ever had. We came in to look at blinds and the lady was completely unhelpful. I had the ask her three times to initially get her to tell me what options were available. She finally pulled out a box and literally dumped it on the ground at my feet and walked away. Later, I tried to get her attention but she decided to ignore me so that she could look at wedding pictures on google. My father walked up to her, and she managed to completely ignore his requests for assistance from two feet away! Finally we just had to leave because she would not show us anything. This is nuts! She obviously knew nothing about her inventory, had no interest in selling anything, and was rude to boot. Why is she employed? If I could give this zero stars I would.

I brought in a Hunter Douglas Duette shade purchased in July 2011 which seemed to need a cord replacement. Raymond Castro, the shade design consultant, told me the HD warranty was only good for 5 years but since I bought it at that store they would cover the warranty for 7 years but it cost $95. I went home and looked online at the HD site and see that their warranty is 7 years for cords. Mr Castro knowingly gave me false information. Honesty is of utmost importance in my choice of repair services. I do not recommend doing business with Mr. Castro.

--HORRIFIC-- youre much better off burning your money making your own blinds by hands. They agreed to a 1pm installation, told me Id be charged if we werent here at the scheduled time, then never showed up, never called, and no one at the store knew anything about the appointment nor cared to do anything about their error. They were amazingly unconcerned and uninterested in fixing the problem theyd created, and at every instance that I had to speak with them, unusually rude, inappropriate, and consistently unhelpful.

If you have a choice go to another store. What to expect here? Nothing but a bad customer service. If you are lucky you might find the product you want. Stores like this give Benjamin Moore a bad reputation. Theres nothing to do with the product itself. This review is all about the staff working here, they are awfully rude.

Just call this place and it lacks a total customer service. I didnt believe the reviews regarding bad customer service and staff, but now I do. There are other places in the city to purchase rather then experience poor service. I wish I could give this a place a negative star rating.

I have had several VERY GOOD experiences at this location and none that were at all dissatisfying. Thanks Janovic team!! Im sure that this store gets many difficult customers. Staff would probably get shell shocked after awhile. Walk in with a smile - youll get one back!

They never have my size in pants. And I ask them to order them but they refuse. There are a few workers there that are so rude its disgusting. I suggest you going to Sherwin Williams, theyre more professional and will order anything you need.
