A friend of mine took my watch there on June 11, 2013 for service. Before my friend gave them some money for the parts (the belt was too short, needs to add four links, cost $304.85), I spoke with the person named Darlene Rodriguez over the phone, she was not nice at all over the phone. I asked her to have the watch checked by their technician and let me know if there is anything else needed to be done and how much it would cost in total before I could decide if I want to have it fixed. She said I would have my money back if I dont want to have it fixed later. Since the technician needs 45 minutes to check on the watch, she would call me back. Our conversation was on the speaker in my car, so my daughter and other passengers all heard it. My friend paid the money and left them the watch. She never called. I called the next day, someone else told me it would cost another $425 for required maintenance, $125 for crystal and $32 for something. I told the lady that I decided not to go for it. She told me that I could have my money back. When my fiance went there to pick up my watch around June 13, they refused to give the money back. After a few telephone conversations, the manager of the store finally returned my call around June 18. According to him, since they have ordered the links from Swaziland, they cant refund me the money. I said that was fine, I would like to have my links added then. He said he would find out where the links were and call me back. He never called. I sent my friend there on June 20, they didnt have the links, and couldnt tell us anything about the links. They gave my friend the business card of the manager of the store, Ray R. Bergara. Told us to call him. Today is June 21, I called the store. I was told the manager wont be back till June 29, and no one would know anything about the links except him. The lady on the phone was nice, she said she would call me back. They claimed they ordered the links, but no one can tell me where the links are and when I can have the links done. This is the service I got from this Cartier Store on Fifth Ave. I used to go there with my friends from China. We spent quite some money there. I am very surprised their service and attitude can be so poor! I wouldnt recommend them to anyone! Go somewhere else if you like Cartier!

I want to buy a wedding ring for my sister and I search the online store, it is out of stock. I call the boutique to see if they would have one. They help me to find it and finally they get it. I will pick it up on the next day but the thing is when I arribe next day,I told them the wrong model and the flight will take off after 5 hours. They help me to get it in a hour!They are so friendly and professional. And Rita, what you did let me know the name of Cartier. You let the Cartier more brilliant!

I thought one of the reasons people go to high end stores is for service but that was not the case here. They were lovely to us while in store to get the sale but everything else was unsatisfactory. We had to keep calling to find out the status and rarely received a return call. The store was never busy while we were there, so not sure why the lack of follow up. Personalization took over 2 weeks which we thought was extremely long. Sadly, we were disappointed and will not shop at this store again.

Bad customer service...its 9:58, the store is opening at 10 and the person in the store shows me 2mins and continues using his phone. All this while i was carrying my son in the baby bjorn. But I waited 2 min and he still did not open the door. I was gone at 10:01... I guess they dont want my money.

This location has really poor service that is not customer focused. I would recommend going to a different location. Otherwise be prepared to have a long wait and be unhappy with the outcome.

Took my Chinese friends here. We did not have a good experience with the customer service. Other stores were more friendly and helpful. They decided to buy elsewhere.

Never purchase a time piece from Cartier. My watch breaks regularly and they charge $475 every time they fix it. This time its costing me $700. Outrageous.
