You really goofed this time. We have over 20 thousand members who communicate on a regular basis (like daily) and word has it that your manager gave one of our members a dressing down in front of other customers. The previous day she had purchased a set of Posca Pens and a brush that she didnt end up at home with. Instead an artco pen was placed in her bag. You are losing customers rapidly as word spreads among us. The problem for you is going to be that you are not the only place around. Weve already been to Artist & Craftsman Supply and Colorful Impressions which stocked the Uni-Posca Pens before you. There is also the regular places that are always less expensive than you are. It really is a mistake for a manager or anyone at Artco to alienate a group as large as we are. Owners need to talk to managers and train them that you do NOT verbally attack customers, ever! People who use back packs are not thieves and all customers deserve respect if you expect to win their crafting dollars.

They have great sales every week. I bought two blank pre-stretched canvases for $5 total. I mainly tend to look at fabric, beads, and yarn and they carry a nice and unique selection of all three types of products. The first time I walked into this store they had a great clearance sale of gourmet yarn for $1 a skein or less than $3 a skein, inlcuding wool blends and fun fur types of yarns. The store is well organized and it is easy to find things. If you cannot find it the employees will help you. They have a clearance table of beads where you can pick and choose the beads you want and pay the same price per container of beads. You will find items here that you will not find at Michaels or Joanns. It is easy to find, being located on business friendly 6th AV.

Artco is a wonderful independent craft shop in a shopping complex on 6th Avenue directly across the street from KMart. They have an excellent selection of most things - like a mini, high-end version of Joanns. They have tons of scrap booking materials, fine art supplies, fabric, jewelry & wood craft supplies, wedding favour supplies, baking items, toys, party items, ribbon...etc. One major thing: they have a die cutter here and tons of stencils. I believe you have to make a purchase to use the device. They also have classes and scrapbooking nights. One drawback would be service - not too hot at the counter. Otherwise - very worth the stop!!

Packed store with many crafts and supplies. Yarn selection is primarily the big companies e.g. Red Heart, Patons, Lion Brand but also some that were unfamiliar to me and seemed to be good quality at a reasonable price. Store looks to be older and some aisles are tight but overall good appearance. Next door is a Harbor Freight for those with a spouse or significant other being dragged along.

I love this family owned business! I could spend hours here if I had the time. The frame department is super good and so kind. They have taken care of me for the past 14 years. The prices are good! They have everything you can need! Never have had anyone be rude nor unhelpful. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

I love this store... It is my go to store for anything really. They have it all. All the employees know me so well since I am in the store almost every day for one thing or another. Awesome customer service and just a warm friendly environment. They also have monthly coupons that are usually a pretty good deal.

Best Family Owned Arts & Craft Store in Washington State. Fabulous to work at the store, I know first hand... as I did. Love everything they carry especially the Rubber Stamping and Paper Crafts isles. Now that I have moved back to Tacoma, I will be shopping there for all my needs in crafting.

Local crafts and art supplies, rare and unique items not found at larger chains. Smaller store but packed with options, including a great kids area and the best paper craft supplies in the city.

Good selection for entry level art supplies, but nothing like Blick or Daniel Smith. Sales reps are friendly, some items are pricy compared to other stores. Good place to shop

A little overpriced on some things but a great variety and lots of demos for ideas. Love to wander around to see what seasonal things they have too.
