Buyer Beware! I went in to get my cell phone problem fixed, but was unfortunately duped into purchasing a "magical box" that would fix any and all my home land line problems. (I had been having a very bad day - obviously crying from my earlier visit at my doctors office) The sales lady put this magic box in my face and told me to take it home and just plug it in and try it. If it worked ok, then I could call her and she would port the number over and it would be hooked up. Well, I took it home and it set on my desk for over 3 weeks and then I called her and asked her if I would be charged a monthly cost if I hooked it up and had a number ported over. She said it would be $20 a month. So I thought I really dont need another bill for $20 so forget it. IMAGINE MY SUPRISE!!!!! When I get my Verizon bill with an extra $90 some tacked on to it with a brand new phone number I never new I had attached to this "MAGIC" box. Also has a 2 year commitment attached to it, $35 activation, blah, blah blah. You get the picture. All in teeny, tiny print. She never said a word about it. Seems these wonderful sales people get a nice commission to coerce people in to buying things without disclosing the full details. So now I am in a 2 year contract, will cost $175 to get out of and I receive bare minimum SSI payments per month to live on. I would NEVER have entered into another 2 year contract. My cell phone is up in May and was going to drop because I couldnt afford the payments. Stay away from this Verizon store and especially the sales lady named LORI FORT.

4 February 2012 While at the store trying to upgrade my phone (from the original droid to the new Iphone) I walked around the store for about 25 minutes before being greeted. When I was finally greeted and asked "What do you need"? I told the young lady that I would like to upgrade my phone to a newer one and I informed her which one I was looking at. She immediately let me know that the Iphone was "a piece of crap, with a small screen" and recommended the new Droid 3. I heard her argument and agreed that I had gotten use to the full keyboard and a larger screen would be nice. While I was at the counter waiting to be processed for the new phone I had bought, I got to listen to a wonderful phone call between the young lady that was processing my purchase and whom I can only assume was a friend of hers. She hears her phone ringing, looks at me and says "Just a minute" answers her phone and proceeds to have a 8 to 10 minute call with her friend discussing what they will be eating, and how she should just "got for it, cause he is totally into you". End result, I bought a phone rearguards of the lack of professionalism from the staff and as a result I will avoid this store in the future. Do I mind waiting? No, not really as I was able to inspect several phones, what irritates me is the lack of respect from the employees. If you are in the customer service/sales industry, you should not be answering your cell phone while you are dealing with a customer regardless of who you work for.

This Port Orchard Verizon store is a complete joke. My son went in to get a new phone to replace his and was told he could not buy a new phone without opening a account and getting a new number. After several attempts to explain that his SIM card keeps falling out so he needs a new phone on the spot, not order one but purchase a phone right then. Again he was told they didnt carry any phones that he could buy? Maybe Im not understanding what the issue is when you walk into a store and ask to purchase a replacement phone, not use a upgrade, not get a new number or line. So far my son has spent 3 HOURS at this location and still no phone in the store to buy! He has spoken to several different representatives and still no phone. If there was another carrier that could provide our family with coverage we would change in a second! We have been with Verizon for years and this has made me rethink who should get our business. This is the second such issue we have had dealing with this location. It is not a fluke but inexperienced CSRs or maybe they just enjoy pissing people off. If you love to go shopping and not get anything for your time but the urge to scream at the top of your lungs just go to the Port Orchard location, they can all help with that.

Before you go to this store, go next door to Fred Meyer, buy a hammer and smash yourself in the hand, then drive to the nearest REAL Verizon store. I went in to get a new phone, they didnt have it (common trend here) so I ordered it. 2 business days turned into 3-5. On day 4 I was promised that the order had shipped, and should be in the store the next day...spoiler alert, it wasnt. ONE WEEK after I ordered the phone I went in and voiced my concern; after a quick (lol) check of the order status THE SALES REP DID NOT ORDER THE PHONE. So I called Verizon from their phone to cancel my order and drove to the nearest actual Verizon store to pick up my phone THE SAME DAY! This Go Wireless store tried to make it up to me by offering me a tablet, and other upgrades. BE CAREFUL! When I went into the ACTUAL Verizon store, all the specials they were offering me were ADVERTISED SPECIALS!

Ive had nothing but problems with this store since I upgraded my phone, The staff doesnt seem to care what the problem is so I have been having to go in numerous times and still doesnt get figured out until I call Verizon directly. , They have messed up my account more than ever, I have been a customer since 2003 and I will never go this store again. I called to meet with the supervisor and they cant tell me when he will be there and I cannot make an appointment to meet with him until the supervisor calls me back. The only reason why I have to go back again is because they are 3rd party and Verizon cannot fix the problem they have to . Im super disappointed and have been a valuable customer and now I am re-thinking this carrier.

I understand in the world we live in we are all pretty dependant on our phones. So yesterday when mine died and refused to charge, i paniced. I then made my Way to go wireless in port orchard to find a solution. There was someone being helped when I arrived, but I was greeted warmly and asked if I had a quick question. Richard ended up staying an HOUR and 1/2 to help me trouble shoot and ultimately get a new phone. I never felt rushed or like he was eager to leave, even though it was way past closing. He gave great advice about different phones and helped me get all the assesories I needed! I am so grateful to Richard! If I ever need help in the future I know where Im gonna go!
