HORRIBLE customer service. Scheduled an appointment at Weddings With Joy with mom, future mother in-law and 2 of 5 bridesmaids. After feeling rushed to try on dresses we then got asked to share a room to try on dresses so a walk-in client could try on dresses. I am sorry but I had an appointment! I shouldnt have to share a room. We ended up finding a bridesmaids dress we liked and scheduled a second appointment to come back with the remaining 3 bridesmaids to try on the ONE dress we liked. When we came back to the boutique I was trying to find the bridesmaids dress (because they werent helping) finally she asked if we wanted to get fitted. The lady then pulled two dresses and told me they SOLD the ONE dress I wanted my bridesmaids to try on to someone for their prom dress! I was VERY frustrated as we just drove over an hour and half and they couldnt have at least called me a few days prior to inform me they no longer have the bridesmaids dress available? I asked the lady if we could at least get any type of compensation for not being able to show the girls the actual dress they are about to spend $225 on and she said no because they are marked down to the lowest MSRP price.. I informed the lady that this was HUGE disappointment. When we just drove down to try on the ONE dress hour and half! She then acted like it shouldnt be a big deal and very unapologetic! Just rude. After we decided to get fitted they werent helping us at all! I felt like I was doing ALL the work as the bride. Plus we needed help because we had someone who will be 7 months pregnant at the time of the wedding. Once they took our measurements correctly. We left the store and took our business elsewhere. They lost a business of $1,226! Dont waste your time. Take your business to Something Blue Boutique who helps you and are polite. they also dont make you feel rushed at all! Very big disappointment in this boutique. Would NOT recommend this boutique to anyone!

My wedding is in September and I just recently started looking for dresses. I rounded up my girls and we took a trip up to South Center at Alfred Angelo. I was really nervous for some reason. I met with the girl and she asked me what I wanted to try on and I was really unsure so she just went and pulled whatever out for me when I was hoping to possibly browse what they had but got a feeling that wasn’t permitted. When I came out to try on my first dress the place was PACKED. There wasn’t a place to stand to look in the mirror. They completely over booked themselves and I was very overwhelmed. My maid of honor suggested that we maybe try Weddings with Joy if I don’t find anything here (that is where she got her BEAUTIFUL gown) the consultant told us that wasn’t a good idea because they are probably expensive and then left the room with 3 dresses that I hadn’t even tried on. I came out and she handed me her card and hurried me out the door. I was very unpleased to say the least and we went straight to Weddings With Joy. We walked in, they were slightly busy and we were greeted with a smile. They were VERY pleasant and helpful immediately. I told them I wanted to see some Maggie Soterro dresses and she went straight to the computer and pulled up every dress with me and gave me each price run down. I chose a dress that I had been looking at for over a year and she told me that it would be there in 4 days and made me an appointment. We browsed around with plenty of help and I left feeling very pleased. When I came back to try on the dress they were very supportive, encouraging, and helpful. I ended up buying the dress that day and it was exceedingly less expensive than any dress alike at Alfred Angelo and they provided me with a very easy payment plan. All in all I HIGHLY applaud Weddings with Joy, and Angie is a complete sweetheart!!

On 8/23/16 I picked up my wedding dress from where I had the Alterations done in Tacoma and had a photo of me taken in the dress. On 8/24/16 I took my dress to Weddings With Joy in Olympia to have it steamed before my wedding on 9/1/16. I picked my dress up from Weddings with Joy on 8/29/16, paid $81.60 and when I got home I couldnt believe the condition of my $1100 dress. The employee who steamed my dress damaged the satin sash, left holes on each side of the sash from clipping it and left brown spots all over the skirting from either not using clean water or from the steamer spitting all over the gown while she steamed it. I immediately sent an email to the store with before and after pictures. The employee who did the steaming called me back and told me to bring it back in so she could steam it the way I wanted it done. I told her the damage could not be repaired by simply re-steaming it again since the fabric is damaged. The sash should never have been steamed and if it was going to be steamed there should have been fabric in between the steamer and the satin to protect it. The sash now has discoloration, holes and shrinkage. This is the only solution the employee offered me... no apology, no offer of a refund even. Then the store owner (Courtney) called and left me a voicemail and offered me the same solution- to bring it back to the store to have it re-steamed. The owner is out of town, the store is closed today 8/30/16 and my wedding is 9/1/16. Currently my dress is at a local tailor trying to be repaired.

Weddings With Joy – I cannot thank you enough!! I’m a NJ Bride and my MOH lives in the Seattle area. Due to the distance between us I’m unable to be there for her while she was shopping for her dress. It’s been a rough process for both of us, but Amy made ALL the difference and helped make this a great experience for us both; • Friday, May 24th, 2013 my MOH was trying on a few of the dress options I had sent her. When we realized they were not quite right for my beachside wedding, AMY helped pick out some other options and fabric selections to see if they would work. • AMY’S excellent customer service helped my MOH get into, photographed, and out of more than a dozen dress (and all under an hour – AMAZING!!). • AMY was polite, comical, helpful, and my MOH described her as an absolute pleasure to work with. And could not thank her enough for all of her help throughout her appointment. • My MOH said her experience with Weddings With Joy was tenfold a better experience than the 2 other bridal salons she had been too (including a Davids Bridal). For all of the above reasons and so much more, I would love to thank AMY and Weddings With Joy for making this experience so very easy for me and my Maid Of Honor! Now, on to shoes & accessories :)

I had a great experience with WWJ. The store is bright and clean and the people are very helpful and happy. I was discouraged that I would not find a wedding dress that I loved. I had shopped around and didnt find anything. I had had been into WWJ before and did not find a dress the fist time I was there. I went in a few months later and they had more selections, I described what I was looking for and they pulled out a dress I fell in love with. Although I was not able to try it on because it was another customers, I tried on a dress that had the same top and ordered the dress. They had great patience with me and amazing customer service, I can be a very difficult customer. I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses from them. I changed them a couple times because I am picky and WWJ worked with me. They try to make things less stressful for you and help where they can. They ordered me swatch samples of the color of my bridesmaid dresses. I would recomend them for any kind of dress you are looing for, not just wedding dresses. When I was in high school I had gotten my prom dress here.
