I spent $842 and change at this store buying furniture for my new apartment. One item, a queen bed, was sold to me with a hairline crack in the metal frame. The crack was on the underside of the frame and was hardly visible, but it was a critical flaw. If I hadnt caught it, the bed probably would have collapsed. I contacted the manager and told them that I was willing to repair the bed and keep it, but that I thought that, given the beds compromised state and the time and money I was going to have to invest to fix it, the price I had payed ($180) was unreasonable. They refused to even give me some store credit to compensate me and just kept repeating that all items were sold "as is." I explained that I understood their policy, but that this particular item shouldve never made it to the sales floor and that I essentially payed for a bed that shouldve been in the city dump. They were unrelenting. An email to another manager received no response.

Who ever prices their items need to be fired! Especially n the furniture, I went out furniture shopping one day and thought I would check out habitat, A ratty old wobbly couch was over $500, I went over to a near buy furniture store and found a brand new couch that was bigger and NEW for $500. This is not a one time thing. All the furniture in there is outrageously priced. Ive been in Habitat a few times since they moved from downtown and am just disgusted at the price of things. I used to buy stuff there all the time but now its cheaper to go to Home Depot or factory outlet for windows. The windows are crazy expensive. The selection of goods has decreased and the prices have gone up. I bet the move to a strip mall was not such a good move. I can only imagine how expensive rent is.

Today makes the second time I have gone to the Olympia Habitat Store looking for an item needed to make repairs or do a project at home where the cashier has walked away from me when I had money in hand to make my purchase saying someone else will come and help me. At roughly 3:00 PM this afternoon, I tried unsuccessfully to purchase a phone cable only to be given the clear message that my business is not wanted in that store. As a transgender woman I get this kind of treatment all the time and there is no good excuse for it. I left the cable on the counter and walked out without waiting for someone willing to take my money.

Dont even bother to go in unless you want some random nut or bolt. The people who price items jack the price way up. Many times you can get a brand new item for the same or less. They ar e running a scam and they know it. If you call their attention to their outrageous prices they only smirk and chide you that your monney is going to a good cause. Once I needed an item that hadno price on it. The woman who does the pricing looked up a new item on line and then quoted me that price.

I have volunteered for Habitat in 3 states. The olympia Habitat store has the most outrageous prices and the rudest staff I have ever encountered. They should take a lesson from the Bellevue and Seattle stores about how to price as well as a lesson in customer service. Unless youre desperate, Id go to Yelm!

Higher prices than new items! The prices are crazy crAZY CRAZY! $700 for something that was given to them. They need to find a cheaper rent space, or close shop. Ill never step foot into that ReStore again. Why bother? I can get new and better quality for the same price.

Ive been coming to your store when it was in downtown Olympia.Ive notice your prices have drastically increased on your furniture.Your prices now are the same on a lot of your sofas as new!!Even the Goodwill is less expensive.which I never thought I would say.

Yes their prices are too high, but once in a while, I can find a deal there. As far as customer service goes, they are starting to get a lot better. People are all different, and they get a lot of volunteer labor in there from time to time.

This place is better than the tacoma location. Bright, easy to see & navigate,we did 2 bathrooms with tile & bought kitchen granite here at 50% off. Tile for bathrooms was bought a yr ago.

Ive gotten a nice couch here for $10 and a bigger nicer couch for $45, but the prices are hit and miss. Have to take the deals where you find them though!

Customer service & organization of the store are great. Prices are occasionally alright but generally not that cost effective.
