Worst customer service Ive ever had in my entire life to date. We came in to buy a love seat and a very nice sales lady helped us. She was patient and very helpful, really wanted us to get what we wanted. We felt good about our purchase. They said it would take 8 weeks to make our love seat. Well, 8 weeks roll by and we hadnt heard a word. My husband called them and asked where it was and they told us to call back when so and so was working. I thought that was odd so I called and asked the same thing. A nice young man looked it up and told me they hadnt started making it yet. Were chill people so we just kinda schrugged. My husband called back when so and so was working and asked if we could up-grade to a full sized sofa since it hadnt been started yet. The lady got so mean on the phone. She behaved like we were being awful people and lost her temper. My husband stayed calm and told her she needed to take a step back to calm down. She said shed be in touch. After a week with no word, he called back again. We were again told to call back when someone else was working. He called again and was met with hostility from the lady right from the get-go. My husband asked for a refund since there was no word about a love seat we should already have. Now, Ive read previous reviews where the owner replied saying Stanton can take longer, okay, fine, but is giving your customer a call about it so hard? Anyway, she said shed ask her manager and call us back. She did manage to call back, and had a sing song voice this time. She said we could still up grade to a couch and should have it in a few weeks. We said that sounded good. So we wait 2 weeks and no word on sofa. My husband called again and was told the sofa was ready, but to call back when the deliver scheduler was working. He did and this same lady as before helped him. For reasons we cannot figure out, she lost her temper again and hung up on him. He was kind the whole conversation, being a believer that being mean doesnt help anything. He called back and she seemed to have worked through her issues and managed to schedule a delivery time. Let me just say, as someone who used to work in the claims department for UPS, and dealt with folks screaming and cussing me out, I never, not once, reacted like this lady. And we were by no stretch of the imagination being rude. We finally did get our couch and are pleased with it. We just wish our money could have gone to a place that understands that furniture is a very big purchase and cares about your experience. Ive also read the owner say they are a distributor for Stanton, as to pass the responsibility to them. Heres your job as a distributor: Know their current schedule and how long it will take for orders to get filled. Check in with them to make sure everything is going as planned. If something is wrong, figure it out and communicate with your customer. Otherwise, dont contract with them. It is beyond me how anyone could rate this company more than 1 star. Perhaps its just the Lynnwood store that sucks. Look at the Yelp reviews, they are much more accurate as far as the overall rating. If you are considering this place, run away. Far far away. And if these bad reviews dont serve as a big enough warning, do yourself a favor and only buy things you can walk out of the store with that day. His reply to me and everyone on here is pretty worthless, when we tried so hard to get communication during the transaction. Im certainly not going to put myself through that just for someone to "apologize."

False promises. Poor customer service after transaction. Me and my wife went here on April 15 to get furnitures (bed frame, couch, living room table, coffee table, 4 wood counter stools) for our new place before moving in about 2 weeks later. The sales person told us that they will be able to deliver by the 27th. Come the 27th and we have not received a single call so we decided to visit the store later that day since we needed a book shelf as well.. Same sales person told us that they have not delivered yet because they do not have the coffee table yet. So, okay, we told them go ahead and deliver without the coffee table and we will just pick up the coffee table when its ready - considering that their delivery charge is $105 cash only. We decided not to buy the book shelf from them. 2 weeks later and again we were yet to receive a notification call for the coffee table. We called to cancel the coffee table and ask for a refund but the same sales person asked us not to cancel and they will deliver for free on Thursday, May 18. Today is the 19th. Guess what? We still do not have the item and no one from JR Furniture called again. We called this morning and a lady talked to us because our sales person is not in. We told this lady our frustration but she didnt seem eager to do anything to satisfy our complaints. We asked if we can talk to a manager - she said they have no manager in until Monday (no wonder this place is ran poorly). At the end of the frustrating call, the lady said it will be delivered tomorrow. However, she was not sure if the delivery will be free. So tomorrow, if we ever recieve the table, we may be asked to pay a fee. We still need some more furnitures but I am sure not to get it from this store.

As someone that works in customer service and understands the importance of customer wants and needs this store and the people that work there is awful. "Big" Mike doesnt listen to anything you say and in my case ordered the wrong bed. He was too busy talking about someones dog and other random things. When I got it I called and spoke with someone who tried to convince me to just keep what I got and later told me she was overwhelmed by the issue. The next day I was able to speak to a manager who is even more rude and tried tell me it was my fault but that he fixed it by ordering the correct bed free of charge and with free delivery. I offered to keep the bed I got if he gave us free box springs which we would pick up , as it would be about the same as the crazy delivery charge they charge and he said no. I was also told I cant just return everything because they were fixing the mistake. These people are not helpful and they dont care. Now they arent doing anything besides saying well youll get your bed in a week. He hung up on me once. I wouldnt recommend this store to anyone. I had been planning on purchasing $5,000 worth of furniture for work from them and this will NOT be happening. Im appalled as to how they treat their customers and pass the blame for their inability to listen or care or pay attention to details. Definitely wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. And just to add these "google user" reviews...they couldve at least created names because if Im writing a bad review and put my name on it why would someone with a good review hide their name...a bunch of liars and terrible people.
