Misleading military discount! So I normally go to OReillys because they are cheaper and give me a military discount, but since I was in the area and saw a military discount sign on the outside of this NAPA I decided to get my parts here. The reason Im giving them a two star and not a one star is because while I waited for a good 5-10 min to be helped because they were busy. two workers went outside with their customers and went the extra mile and help the customers with the installation of the customers purchases. What bothered me is when I was checking out and showed my military card to the guy who was helping me who did do a decent job told me that they only give military discounts to active duty. So if they only give a discount to active duty then that means retired, the reserves and national guard, and others that I havent named that are MILITARY dont get a discount. Which means with this location probably doesnt see a lot of active Duty military since its not close to a base and that is why I say its a misleading sign.

If you call first to see what they have and they put you on hold just hang up and call the NAPA in Port Orchard or Gig Harbor. I can usually get to talk to someone right away. Their computers will tell you at which store the part is available. What Purdy doesnt have one of the other stores will and they can tell you right away. Its your choice whether you travel or they can have it for that afternoon or at worst the next day. Terrific having a parts store close at hand instead of automatically having to drive. They swap my wiper blades and have always been terrific to advise or help on everything else. Anyone who cant figure out a simple parts store run when there are great people behind the desk is reviewing himself more than the store. Thanks NAPA for having a local store with local people who have a great local attitude.

Arrived at exactly 5:00 pm. The door was locked but the employees were helping the last 2 cutomers at the counter. I only needed a bulb for a spent brake light. Employee let a customer out, but refused to let me in. Being a business owner myself, I WOULD NEVER REFUSE BUSINESS. Ive spent hundreds at this NAPA, but I will never be back again.

I have been in the auto repair industry for over 23 years. Sometimes getting the correct part is a 50/50 chance. I have been using the purdy Napa for almost 3 years now and Laurie Fairbanks has given me the correct part every time. This is kind of rare in this industry. Excellent job. 5 stars

Like the place and great majority of people that work there. Some are just too neutral to your existence almost to a point of "just pay for this and get out". But mostly alright. Some people are relay nice even share their experience with you while others just stand there doing their job.

Absolutely the worst auto parts store Ive ever been to. Every time I go here they have issues finding me the parts that I need. This time around it was a simple oil filter. Couldnt help me find it because I didnt have the "exact dimensions and details" of the filter itself. So ridiculous.

The parts selection is more than adequate, some times the service could use some help. This is less of a place for DIY enthusiasts and more of a place to find a part and go. There are cheaper options on most parts nearby which seems to amplify the lack of service some times.

Why does a store that has no customers any time I walk in put me on hold for so long...then when I walk in the employees are to busy on there computer to even acknowledg me even though Im walking around the store in circles..

Always helpfull. accidentally got the wrong part a few times i went back and got the corrrect part right away. They are always busy and have a small store so it can take a while to get the part you need
