Bought a S500 here about 6 years ago. The car was a nightmare. Engine noise every time I started it about 4 months after I purchased. Spoke with the staff about it multiple times. Kept it there overnoc so they could appreciate the noise after I took it up there once before and they stated nothing was wrong. After it sat overnoc service tech, myself, manager and my mercedes service helper went out in am to listen to it start. Of course it started and it sounded like an engine with a loud clacking noise. They ended up changing out the entire long block. I ended up with a "loaner" car while having service done. It was a hyundai that reaked of cigarette smoke. My S500 cost over 30,000.00 and it had less then 50,000 miles when they changed the block out. I wanted a refund on the car because I was also experiencing the vehicle changing gears,or staying in first gear when I would drive. Lastly it has a safety system that would go off and the whole car would shut down electronically. They stated because they changed out the long block, they would not give me a refund. After fighting with them for some time and attempting to manage my own business. I rarely drove the car after that because it wasnt safe. One day I took it up to Mercedes and traded it in for a E300 2011. They didnt have anything in their computer about trading out the long block or all the services calls that had been done on it,or they didnt look(I have ALL service records, everything) and I was thrilled because I knew the car was worth zilch. Now the E300 has two seats that are ripping across the bottom half of the seat. I was shocked to hear at the local upholster they are not leather and he has not seen this kind of wear except in seats far over 100,000 miles or if maybe a morbid obese person was driving or sitting in passenger seat? Im 59 and weigh 136 lbs. None of my passengers are obese either. Also I bought the car with 32,000 miles and it has 50,000 miles. Had it for two years. Mercedes manager of service states lots of Mercedes dont have leather seats and its not covered. Guess what 1,000.00 for the passenger seat and 350.00 minimum for the driver seat. I WILL NEVER buy another car with Mercedes Benz of Tacoma and seriously suggest you think it through before purchasing one there.

I was compelled to leave a review after reading several negative reviews. I dont necessarily think my experience warrants 5 Stars, but it definitely didnt warrant less then 4 Stars. I chose 5 Stars because I feel that this review process has been skewed by consumers who are ignorant and self-entitled. Just because you own or drive a Mercedes doesnt make you better then anyone else. If you call the dealership and they dont call you back, then call them back. People get busy. Things happen. It isnt personal. Having to wait 20 minutes for a test drive? God forbid. Your engine going south on a used car? It happens. Again, it isnt personal. But you choose to attack the dealership. These people have families, children, mortgages. They work for a living. Try to be a little more human and diplomatic as identifying and solving problems sometimes takes a little time. We are human, failures happen, mistakes happen. I have an E55 that needed bi-xenon turned on in STAR. After going to 5 Mercedes specialists in Tacoma (including Rolfs, who techs are idiots) and being told there was no such thing, I finally bit the bullet and went to the dealership. I definitely didnt like the cost and felt like I was overcharged but the fact is the tech knew what I was talking about, he was able to do the job, did it in half the time and discounted the price, and gave me further options if the issue persisted. Overall, I am happy with the outcome. If you have a problem with your car, with a salesman, with a service advisor, address it! Dont be the typical passive- aggressive Washingtonian who leaves a negative review because they cant have a face-to-face conversation. You dont like the climate or attitude, then go buy a Ford! Geezus. MBs are solid that is why they are at the top of the food chain.

The only reason theyre getting a 1/5 is b/c there is no 0/5 option. This is a series of events that happened while bringing in the ML350 for routine level B maintenance: 1) Discussed where to be picked up and dropped off. Gave them my cell phone number 2x. Waited outside the mall w/ my elderly mother in the rain looking for every Benz for half an hour b/c no call was made telling me of their delay. When I called them twice, they just told me that the driver "was on his way". The driver turned out to be one of the service techs who Im pretty sure was taking his sweet time b/c he was getting paid by the hour. Once he finally arrived, he gave a half-sincere "Im sorry". 2) When we got back to the dealer, I noticed that on the receipt there was an "ipod dock broken" written on it. Thought it was somewhat strange b/c I used my ipod on that dock about 3 hours ago while I was driving the car up to them. They charged me the $550 for the maintenance fee only to pull up in the wrong car! (They told me this was the first time that this has happened to them, but apparently a customer who reviewed this place earlier also had the same issue) Had to wait another 15 minutes while they voided everything and re-charged for the correct amount. 3) Wrote their website to just voice my complaint and have been getting spammed daily by them. Apparently they dont read the complaints and are just under the assumption that I want to buy another car and need more info. POOR FORM. With these events that happened, I truly question the validity of the "maintenance" they performed. Maybe youll have better luck taking it to the Benz dealer in Bellevue or Portland...

I needed a Mercedes hitch installed on my GL450 and this dealership quoted me the best price so I chose them to do the work. It was the best price because they failed to order all the parts. They realized the mistake, ordered the part, and told me it would take two extra days which was going to delay the family vacation. Two days later they tell me they ordered the wrong part and it will be two more days to get the right part. When I finally get the vehicle the cigarette lighter between the front seats no longer worked. Rewiring for the hitch and the brake controller must have broken something. When they called to ask how the service went I told them I was not happy and that they broke something in the process. They said to bring it in and they would fix it. About six months later the air suspension started to leak so I decided to give them another chance so they could also fix the cigarette lighter. Got a message at the end of the first day that they found no problem with the suspension and it would be about 500 to fix the lighter. The next morning they call again saying they have found the leak and I remind them that they said they would fix the lighter. Three days later the part arrives and they install it to fix the suspension but they inform me they will not fix the lighter. I speak to the manager and explain what happened and he reluctantly agrees to keep the vehicle and try to fix the lighter. Over a week goes by and I hear nothing from them so I go pick up my vehicle and find that they have done nothing to fix the lighter and have just let the vehicle sit there for over a week without talking to me. Avoid this dealer. You have been warned.
