IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS---- I WOULD GIVE 100 NEGATIVE STARS!! BTW I, Evan Rudnick, dont have a Google account, but my Mom said that I could use her account to get this important message out. It was the WORST car buying experience anyone could of had!!! On Saturday, March 28, 2015 my friend of over 20 years and myself, went to look at a vehicle at Car Connections. I was there mostly for moral support for my friend in buying his dream car. Things went sour VERY quickly. The sales lady, Vanessa, was very nice and helpful! The store manager was an utter disgrace to the car buying experience. The manager put his foot on the front bumper of the car that my friend and I were looking at. I politely asked him to take his foot off of the bumper. He looked at me in a "Yeah--NO!" manner and kept pushing my friend to to in-house financing with him, when my friend had a pre-approval letter from his Credit Union. Shortly after I politely asked the manager to take his foot off the bumper; I escalated my voice to better clarify my disapproval in the manager having his foot on the bumper. The manager then told me that I WAS NO PART OF THIS and then he got in my face and said that HE COULD PUT HIS FOOT ON ***HIS*** CAR IF HE WANTED TO. He then started to put me down in MANY other ways and I put my hand up to shake his and to tell him that I didnt need to hear him vent and that I was sorry if I caused him any grief. He looked at my hand and stormed into the building... My friend and I then said goodbye to Vanessa and I went to the car first.. The Manager then stormed back out, put his face in front of my friends face and told him something. When my friend got in the car he told me what the manager said to him; which was: "I dont want HIM to ever come to my store AGAIN!!! But youre more than welcome to come back and buy the car." Both my friend and I have come to an agreement that the Manager VERY FREELY pulled out the discrimination card.... Im not sure what to do from here.. but I called today to try and get a hold of the owner, just 3 days after the incident, and I got a hold of the mean and nasty Manager on the phone and he still told me never to call again.... I understand that I could of handled things differently BUT SO COULD HE. What it ALL comes down to is.... that any sales person has the right to refuse a sale against a PARTY.. but they do NOT have the right to single a person out and tell them that theyre no longer welcome here. The owner needs to fire Steve, the Financial Manager.. Hes a scuzzy creep who needs to come back to earth and realize that were ALL human... hes no better than ANYONE else.

I just bought a car from the car connection, so I figure a review is warranted. The short review is that its no pressure, my salesperson (Vanessa) was polite and honest, and they have a big selection. Although I went for a specific vehicle on their lot I was surprised at the size and how many cars they actually had. When you test drive the vehicle youre on your own, so with a drivers license and phone number youre on your way. When I returned to the lot from the test drive I was not jumped on by a sales person. Instead Vanessa waited inside for me to come in so we could talk about price. I paid cash so their was no credit check or talk about where I wanted my payment in terms of the interest rate and term of a loan. Instead I threw out a number, she talked with the boss and came back with their price. We did this a couple times and were able to settle on a purchase price. After we settled on the price it was about 45 minutes until all of the paperwork was ready to sign. During that time Vanessa got my truck washed which was nice. I had a bit to observe other salespeople and their interactions and I can say that if I had a different sales person I could be looking for cars still. Vanessa had such a positive attitude and I think it was just right my family. If youre in search of a used car and something on the lot shows up then call and ask for Vanessa. Tell her a guy who bought a white Tahoe from her said to come in. I dont get anything out of it, but she would probably appreciate the reference. If I needed another car in the future I think I would check out The Car Connection again.

Bought a car from here a couple months ago. I would NOT buy from here again. + Nice no-pressure sales person (Vanessa). + Decent price at $5.5k before taxes and registration. - Several issues fixing the car so far. Do NOT buy a car from here if the pre-buyers inspection does not come up clean. Got the car inspection and thoughtd Id eat the cost for repairs. Its a 2003 convertible after all and it might be fun to do some of the work myself. Issue is, the problems are a safety hazard and repairs could be dangerous issues include (approximate quotes amounts): -- Metal to metal front brakes, meaning the car might not stop. ($700) -- Broken air bag controller, meaning the air bags will likely not go off in a crash. ($1000) -- Leaking fluids, meaning the car is less reliable and had a toxic smell after driving a while. ($1000) -- Plus another $1500 for various improvements to improve suspension, etc. This totals about $4.5. Not quite the price of the car but only $1k off. Would rather spend my money at a more reliable dealer.

Seriously, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! The dealer was very friendly and not pushy at all which is the only plus. The car we purchased had so many problems that crept up within a month. The heater stopped blowing hot air intermittently, there was a coolant leak, ALL four tires were bald on the inside (outside looked good but who gets a flashlight inside the wheel well?), car burns through oil like it’s gas, driver side fog lamp was out, passenger headlight burnt out after 3 days, driver heated seat is shorted so it burns you’re a$$ if you have it any higher than the lowest setting (which does nothing), passenger tail light carrier was fried, driver side window will not roll up without being pulled on, and the check engine light stays on! I took the car in to get these problems fixed and the mechanics told me right off “uh… I don’t know what we can do, maybe put it on the computer?”

This was on OK place to buy used vehicles . They seem to be very pushy, and would seem a bit judgemental or at least have some attitudes there, that said I was there with my dad he bought a Explorer like an Eddie bower or limited edition one of thought Def finally can tell was used has a exhaust leak no major as of now pockets in the seats a bit tore up inside and to me the appearance of a life next or driving on the beach the rims and running boards have some good electrolysis going on but that all said he is happy for now with it and got it for 4-600$ under bluebook so for now time will tell . I will post pics of the rig soon. Ill update this post also in 6 months if something bad should go down with the car.
