On 4-26-13 I went to their dealership because I saw a Ford 1990 Ranger I was interested in . I went to go check it out and right off the bat I noticed the steering column cover was gone and you could turn the car over without at key . He told me that it had been broken into before . I also noticed white smoke out the exhaust not a lot but enough to ask about it . Big Dave the sales guy assured me it wasnt a blown head gasket and that they have a mechanic who looks after their cars. I was going to leave and bring back a mechanic of my own to check it out but I got the speil how they are an honest family dealership and that they would make sure I drove a way with a good car. They drop the price down a bit and said they would get a lock guy to get me keys. I was specific I wanted a keys that worked for the ignition too my friend heard me say this . They agreed and gave me paperwork to sign while I thought they were working on my car but once they noticed I signed the paperwork then all of a sudden all they really could do for me was get a key that locks one door and not the ignition .They basically swindled me promised to fix things and waited till I signed the paperwork and then they werent willing to do anything for me. I almost caused an accident after leaving the lot because I was so concerned about the steering column and the white exhaust still coming out the exhaust that I didnt check the brake lights if they worked . Turns out I didnt have any so when I went to stop all the cars around me had to swerve around me to avoid rear ending me . Then the car died twice on the way home less then 10miles away . Over the weekend I got it to a Mechanic and they confirmed the head gasket was blown which was my suspicion and their rate to fix it was$1300 .A hundred more then what I paid for the car .I called Leavitt back and I kept getting told their busy and that theyll call back at such and such a time later . Which they never did and I would have to call them back finally their best suggestion for me was to get a sealant. I posted my issues on Facebook and a few more people responded with the same experience and that being not good with them whether it was buying or on a trade in . I have learned that Im not the only one having these kind of problems with this dealership I think I would agree with the review right below and that your better off not even stepping foot on that lot.

We bought a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder on 4/20/12 from this crappy car lot. We had not even had the truck for 3 days when we heard a weird noise and took it to the a mecanic, they told us the transmission was going to go out antime soon. It was so bad that a transmission flush would not help. We want back to talk to Brian the owner and he didnt really want to help us. He was saying that maybe we had done that in the couple days we had it. There is no way that would of happen in the days we had it. The problem was so bad he had to of known. When i bought the car the salesman give me some paperwork to sign, in that paper work was a waiver to implied warranty i did not know that until i spoke to a lawyer because of that i am unable to get my money back. Ive heard after i bought the car that other people have had the same problems where there cars brake down after a couple days. They are a bunch of liers who like to rip people off. Do not buy a car from there. This does not even deserve one star.

My son and I went car shopping over the weekend. Went to a lot of big dealerships but none of them have cars in our price point (all over $6000). As a result, we were forced to look at the small ma and pa, establishments which always makes me nervous. We stopped by Leavitt on a Saturday after spending most of Friday looking for vehicles. They have great "looking" cars to choose from. We worked with Doug who may be the best Car Salesman I have dealt with, friendly, knowledge and very low pressure (almost too good to be true). We left the lot initially to look at a few more cars but our initial experience and the quality of the car brought us back to their lot. We ended up buying a Volvo from them and we were super happy with what we experienced. Two days later I took the car to my mechanic and he said the car was in perfect shape. Thank you Leavitt for changing my prospective

I am always a little nervous to purchase vehicles from little lots, but I have to say that my experience with Leavitt Auto Sales was amazing. My husbands car died and he was out looking for a new car but because of our great experience with Leavitt I too decided to buy a car from them. They had great cars at great prices. They were low pressure, friendly, and very accommodating. My window switch is not working properly, I called them and they are ordering a new one for me and putting it in. Such great customer service, they truly want their customers to be happy, and be repeat customers. I absolutely love my new car, thanks to ALL the staff at Leavitt for treating your customers GREAT!!!

They sold me an Audi A4 Turbo just last week that I paid $6000 for. When I went to put new tiers on it they had three 17 in tiers one it and one 16in. Not just that but two tiers had nails in them and the spare was popped as well. Then I went to get the car checked out, Leavitts told me they replaced an engine gasket just the other day, but my mechanic told me they just shaved it down and glued it back together.. But the best part is that the transmission only has 1300 miles left one it.. Thanks so much Leavitts for the high quality car you sold me. I’ll be back. NOT!

Drove over from Port Orchard to look at a car they had that I was searching for. Salesman was straight up and honest about what was wrong with the car and I ended up walking out with the car that day. No complaints here. Know what you are getting into buying a USED car and do your homework, and bring someone who knows about cars with you when shopping. Plus they have a cool parrot in the office that is friendly and will let you pet it.
