I have been an avid motorcyclist for the better part of 10 years. Every so often I decide to add another motorcycle to my stable. After weeks of video reviews, blog post, forums, and literature I decided on the next bike I HAD TO HAVE. I knew what I wanted, the color, and everything there was to know about the bikes ability. Nothing was talking me out of it. I was buying this bike, the only thing that was up for decision was who was selling it to me. First I went to Cycle World, as it was the closest dealer and I heard so much about them. I went in, spoke to somebody who called talked so highly of Cycle World that he actually went out of his way to talk negatively about Sunrise in particular. I dont know why, but he did. So they gave me a number on my motorcycle, they respected the fact that I knew what I wanted and wasnt changing my mind. The number they gave me compared to my research on this area was ASTRONOMICAL. I gave them a response back on what I thought was reasonable. They told me theyll think about it. When I told them I hadnt spoken to Sunrise yet to see what numbers they have. The salesperson took the sheet he wrote with the break down of numbers on it, crumbled it up and said I cant have that to shop around with. They were unwilling to let me have the option to try another dealership. But they told me theyd call me about my offer. They let me walk right out of the door. Another redflag. I called Sunrise, told them what I was looking for, and how much Cycle Word told me, I spoke to Roy Ford. Roy Ford told me come on in, and give him an opportunity. So I did. I drove right there and met with Roy. His office of US Military and local police department memorabilia showed me the local support he has had from his customers over the 26 or so years he has been there. It took me about an hour of working with Roy to know that I was set, he was compassionate, caring, didnt try and sell me something I didnt want, didnt lie to me if he didnt have an answer to a question, but youll be sure he found the answer. Roy immediately became a friend, at this point. I was willing to give Sunrise more money, just for the way they represented themselves as a friend to motorcyclist rather than just trying to sell them something, and talk badly about other shops. I called Cycle World asking if they heard anything back or planned to give me a return phone call. The salesperson asked who I was working with, just told me negative thing after negative thing about Sunrise, and why I am wasting my time there, and then actually told me "you know what - buy your bike there then" ....um...okay...I will. So I did, I went right back to Roys office and bought my motorcycle. Roy did everything he could to make me comfortable, not feel pressured and sell me a motorcycle at a great deal. Roy gave me a price that was nearly $1,500 less than Cycle World, and a huge deal under what any other dealership I visited gave me. Roy went out of his way to make sure I got more than I bargained for. I could not have been happier. Im not telling you to not shop around, because its in your best interest. What Im telling you - is in the end, youll find you wont find as somebody as friendly, and caring to make sure you never feel pressured as Roy Ford will Sunrise Cycles. As long as Roy is still at Sunrise, its not worth my time to go to any other dealership. I think youll find the same once you give them the opportunity.

We recently came in (about 2 weeks ago) to look at motorcycles and get some information, but we ended up purchasing two motorcycles from Sunrise Cycles. Got a good deal and awesome service. Upon coming into the store we had a warm welcome from the salesman (Duck). He answered all of our questions honestly and didnt try to pressure us into anything. He made us feel very comfortable. Duck showed us multiple bikes and allowed us to sit on any bike we wanted no matter the cost of the bike. He made us feel like appreciated customers and didnt make us feel awkward or act as if we were wasting his time. Duck also went out of his way and checked the back inventory for parts. He even switched out the bike seat on the bike I was interested in, for one that better fit my stature, and made me feel more comfortable. After deciding we liked the bikes, we were able to get a reasonable price on the new bikes and our trade-in. I also loved the fact that they delivered the bikes to our home since we came from way across the water. Prior to the bikes being delivered we had some alterations done. They included lowering, frame sliders, and installing a 12v charger. It was nice to have all this completed prior to delivery. The guy who delivered and picked up the bikes was really nice and helpful as well. All in all, we received excellent customer service from Duck at Sunrise Cycles. He made sure to keep us well informed on the status of our bikes and making any changes to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend going to him if you plan on purchasing a motorcycle. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of a 5 was because of the time lapse between purchase to receiving the motorcycles from the shop. It seemed to take awhile for parts to come in. Otherwise a very good experience throughout.

I went to Sunrise Cycle in Norfolk, VA with an idea of what I wanted and who I wanted to work with. I found and find Mr. Roy Ford to be the perfect salesman in the perfect environment all while at the perfect dealer. I have been a fan of Sunrise Cycle for many years and I can honestly say that a big part of my excitement to want to visit is to interact with Mr. Roy. He always have made my visits pleasurable and more than entertaining. So being a repeat customer, I was sure to deal with Mr. Roy knowing that the experience would but nothing but the best possible. He shows the real Roy and that says enough. I have felt a sense of comfort from the staff at Sunrise and Mr. Roy has been the biggest supporter of me and my needs and concerns from day one. In conversation, we have found that we even share a common generation connection by my dad and Mr. Roy worked together many years ago. How do I know this? Well Mr. Roy is real and we can talk beyond just the business. I can see how a person can really get the best service at Sunrise Cycle because of people like Mr. Roy Ford. Here is what I know…He cares about you before you meet him. He cares about you while you are there (working with him or not). Best of all, he cares about you after you have left the shop. It can only go on record as my opinion but I am 100% pro Roy Ford of Sunrise Cycle and will be a loyal customer because of him.

First thing. Thank you so much Chris Bailey "sales representative" Buck and Josh "down in service" Chris Bailey didnt just help me out he hooked me up. Recently went in the dealership to buy a 2016 raptor 700r se. Chris Made my experience there fun treated me like I was family not just to make a sale, he seemed to actually enjoy his job.. Everything went smooth and painless. 5 stars for him. Thank you chris! I brought my bike in this morning "Friday" for the break-in service after my 20hrs of taking it easy (oil change valve adjustment ect).. Anyways I brought in a power commander 5 full exhaust and air filter for them to install and to really time my bike just right. I already figured in my head that they were going to tell me ok well give you a call back at the end of next week just to tell me it would be finished the following week MAYBE. Well I met a guy named Buck. He looked at me shook my hand and told me hed have it back to me today. I met Josh the young man that did the work on my new investment. Extremely knowledgeable guy set my bike in perfectly and they had it back to me that day well before closing time!!! Great place of business, I could not be more satisfied.. Thank you Sunrise cycles
