So this Target is a little further for me to drive but the Springfield mall target is the worst so I started going here to Merrfifield. Its definitely a cool target, you have to take elevators or escalators to get in (which my kids love) and you can hang out in the Mosiac district area which is fun. The grocery sept is hardly ever stocked. Doesnt matter if its a Tuesday 10 am or a Friday at 10pm and judging by the reviews Im not the only one who thinks this .Maybe its time to hire a new grocery manager bc this is a constant issue and you are surrounded by apartments and are the closet grocery store to those. All other areas are fantastically stocked. I can always find my size here and they have way more selection than the other targets near by. Springfield mall is bigger and still cannot compare. The clothing is always over stocked here especially in the kids section which is great. My only complaint in the chaining room area is a disaster and always has a million carts of discarded clothing blocking you from even getting into the rooms. They could be more organized in that aspect. But other than that love this target.

1. Very poor at stocking to accommodate demand. Example: theyre always out of salted mixed nuts or cashews, regardless of day of week. Like literally cant keep them in stock they sell out so quickly, and never increase the amount or restock to compensate. This is one of many items theyre poor at keeping in stock. 2. I lost my redcard, and they lied to me to get me to continue shopping there while it was replaced, saying I could get the 5% discount by continuing to shop at target with other cards, saving receipts and bringing them in with my replacement redcard to get the discount retroactively. This was a lie that wasted about an hour of my time when I tried to cash them in. Ive stopped shopping at this target entirely due to these things, though I generally like the franchise.

I never thought Id hate going to Target, but this one is a let down. It is messy, inadequately stocked (the grocery dept especially...dont even bother), and the cashiers hardly go out of their way to be friendly. I dont need them to be Trader Joess-level upbeat, but still. Youll find random items placed throughout the store from shoppers presumably changing their minds, and a staff that hardly seem concerned about keeping their store neat and tidy. The few positives are the late hours (open til midnight), and the surrounding environment of Mosaic, which is a decent attempt at New Urbanism. The exterior design of this Target is hot af compared to the rest of the areas retail architecture. Also, its nice to have electric vehicle charging stations (free!) in the garage.

Its always great having a Target nearby, and this is a pretty sizable one. The customer service is top notch, and they are always attentive and helpful. Major points deducted for issues with stock though, as often many items are out of stock in their home goods, kitchen, clothing, and especially the grocery sections. The dairy aisle on a regular Tuesday night at 7pm can look as barren as if the entire town was under a hurricane watch. Often items that ARE in stock may be stocked in the wrong sections or under the wrong label, which leads to further issues trying to find what you are looking for.

Everytime I come into this target the security guard just makes me feel uncomfortable. He is always starring at my friend and I. We are both black I feel like I am being watched because of the color of my skin. No matter how many times I come in and buy something out of this store. It is very obvious. This has been going on for about 4 months enough for me to know thats exactly what hes doing. While hes whatching me and my friend some Caucasian person is probably stealing. I guess he got what he wanted because I will not be back.

Worse customer service ever, rude, not helpful and dont respect customers time. I placed an order for pickup because Im a working mother and I dont have time to shop and needed the stuff for my baby, stopped by after picking up my son three hours later, they told me its not ready and will not be ready anytime soon and didnt even offer helping me collect the items, I had to go brig all the stuff and cancel my order with my son with me who needed to be home by that time. Very bad customer service.

Not enough employees, especially cashiers. The store has really gotten worse the last year or so, and it takes a good 20+ minutes to check out, no matter what time and day I go. Please hire more cashiers and/or open more self check-out kiosks. Also, low stock on many items, which is very frustrating, and not many employees around the store to answer questions when needed. This resembles more a Wal-Mart than a Target, and thats just not good enough in my opinion.

Fairly empty shelves no matter when you go. Often have to ask for someone to check the back for products, its usually back there, overall Lazy staff. Employees from other stores also think they are lazy and do not do their jobs. Store is a mess, shelves and racks disorganized. Watched employees walk past messes on floors and shelves. Have seen 1 person straighten as they walked through the store.

This place is a mess. The mens clothing section has clothing just heaped into piles draped over the racks, higglity-pigglity, with no rhyme or reason. The undergarment section is nearly bare. The phone section of the store is blocked with carriages filled with excess merchandise, blocking access to the aisles. In essence, this store is run like the worst expectations of Walmart. Stay away!

Target is always willing to have you spend money in their Merrifield store but when I needed customer support regarding a lost wallet at their store, they were rude. Kept hanging up on me and finally said "we are too busy to help you, call back." The drama of a lost wallet was difficult, but dealing with their rudeness just added to the stress.

Summer is grilling season, so get your indoor bbq grills here! Yes, that is correct... according to the nice, young people who work here, they have indoor bbq grills in stock! "Do they have infrared grills", you ask? Well, go see for yourself, because they dont know what that word means! An extra star awarded for effort.

I went in this store to add to my baby registry and I got an email saying I would get a bag with coupons and even after explaining this to the associate, I was just handed a scan gun and he walked away. Didnt even ask if I needed help using it. Terrible service on several occasions at this location.

I like the location . But tried to buy an electric induction stove and a badminton set . They did not have them both. Their garden department also has very limited products . Once I tried to buy a strainer and I did not find it . They have more product online compared to the stores.

Target store is a godsend in this neighborhood. We had to go to Fair Oaks or Tysons Corner prior to Target moving here. I like their product line. They are affordable and stylish on apparel. They cover different options for people taste. I buy most of my weekly purchases at Target.
