FYI: Since this happened Bo Borgerding has contacted me and agreed to refund the 1300$ I spent on the primary by check in the mail. I believe this is an adequate solution and I appreciate Patriot stepping up and taking care of their customer. Time #1. I saw all the bad reviews and decided to give the manager a call, I just moved to the area and my bike had shifting issues Primary Case leak, + Carb issues running too rich. Provided all the needed jets 97 Dyna Low Rider. He assured me that everything would be taken care of. He assured me that he would treat me right, Bike got in, 1700$ to replace a lot of bearings + the stator +fuel lines tried to upsell a couple more things that I wouldnt let him gouge me on. I agreed and they got to work, I asked him specifically for the parts twice. Picked up the bike, no primary case leaks, bike ran much better with the SS super but my parts were gone, I recorded a video which stated by their mouths that most of the parts were gone but after digging through the trash they found a couple of bearing and a shift connector but no stator, I flipped my lid. I questioned they actually did the work and after fighting with the general manager and sharing the evidence he refunded the price of the stator (125$) This is after the tech was informed twice the parts must be kept for the customer and he didnt follow those orders Fast forward 50 miles, still having an issue with the replaced Rev Tek 6 Speed, further adjustment finally made me happy, seems as though the shop in Thurmont, MD didnt know what they were doing. They were going to give me refund on a gift card but I requested they take it out of labor for further adjustment. They did so. Fast Forward 100 miles My helicoild back wheel gave out while going 80 miles per hour almost sending me into a tree. It originally gave out on the side of 15 going into Leesburg, It was 8 in the morning so I had to pay out of pocket to some random shop, I asked them if Harley would take care of it due to the bad casting of harley davidson wheels on Dynas (same thing happened to my fathers 03 Dyna) after the original coil and they said they would get back to me. Never did. Tow truck picked up bike, they did an estimate after tow truck damaged my bike and they did a satisfactory estimate + the price for a new wheel. I denied, Ive put almost 2 grand into this and I havent put 200 miles on the bike before it went belly up They were nice enough to wait 30 minutes after close tonight for me to pickup the bike and pay the bill as I drove 3 hours to pick it up. I am thankful for that and they deserve at least a star Bottom line, You will have hell getting a hold of anyone, I had to call 5 times before I got anyone on service lines phone. Each time I tried and called They will attempt to cheat you so be on your toes and question everything. I consider them incompetent businessmen. The bad side? They are the only people in the area. To the manager reading this, You can get a hold of me part of my last name = Finney If you do want to pick up the bike and make this right. I legitimately tried 3 times with you guys and you can bet that I will probably never do business with you again.

I am baffled by the lack of customer service at Patriot HD. Both my father and I have been there many times for service, parts, and buying bikes. Each time we go there, we say well never go back. I can finally say that I am never going back there again. I went there a few weeks ago with my father to purchase a new bike, 2011 Sedona Orange Street Glide with the 103". My father wanted to trade his bike in on the purchase of my new bike (so he could get rid of it easier). Well, what they offered for the trade was not even close. So, we nixed the idea of trading the bike, figured wed keep it and sell privately. Keep in mind the appraisal process took a good hour and fifteen. I was ready to pay cash for the bike in full. We sat down with the salesman; I told him "I am going to buy an 11 Sedona Orange Street Glide 103". Patriot didnt have any in stock; however, I was told over the phone a few days earlier that it would not be a problem to get one in. We started running some numbers, and the salesman went to go check with the sales manager. After about 20 minutes, came back and told me what the sales manager had to offer... Went something like this "Well as you know we dont have the Sedona 103 Street Glide in stock, but you can buy the black or burgundy 96" SG that we have for full MSRP and well even throw in $1000 gift card to buy some parts!" I guess the salesman wasnt listening when I told him I WAS going to buy an 11 Sedona Orange SG 103". At this point we had been there for a little over two hours, and had gotten nowhere. My father got up and walked away immediately... I waited and heard what the salesman had to say and got up and walked out shortly thereafter. Of course I got calls and emails from the salesman... to which I responded, and was polite, and direct about my dissatisfaction. I told him that I did purchase an 11 Sedona Orange SG 103" in less than 10 minutes over the phone from Battlefield HD in Gettysburg, PA for LESS than MSRP... and I didnt even try to beat them down! I was so impressed with the level of service that I didnt even want to! That said... I cannot recommend Patriot HD, I have been there so many times and walked out (after spending a good amount of $$$$) unhappy and completely disgusted... Everything from parts orders being totally wrong, to obscene service charges. I hope this helps you in your decision.

First off I want to say that I have NEVER, NEVER received the level of service and attention to my satisfaction as I recently received from Service Manager, Gary Busic and Assistant Service Manager, Tim Weisenberger. Late this summer a fellow biker accidentally rolled into my bike at a stop sign and dented my rear fender. Whereas I knew the fender would not be an issue, I was extremely concerned with matching the paint since my bike is a custom paint job. I took my bike to PHD where I always take both my bikes and left if for the insurance company to appraise. Once that was finished the parts were ordered and I was unfortunately told that some of the parts were on backorder until November. I just couldnt accept this and in spite of previous experiences with car dealerships where it is impossible to get a service director on the line I figured I would try. I called and Gary immediately took my call. I told him my problem and he said he would call me back. That SAME day he called me back and told me that he had been able to locate the parts at other harley dealers around the country and would bring them in for me. I then told him how concerned I was about matching the paint and he assured me he had a custom painter who could do this and i should not worry. As we went along other problems cropped up such as the custom taillights on my bike were no longer in production. Gary went out into the aftermarket and found me an even better pair than the ones I had. Throughout the entire time that my bike was there Gary kept in constant touch with me. He called me back when he said he would and graciously answered all of my pesky questions. Infinitely more important than my bike, my family had a horrible tragedy involving loss of life while my bike was at PHD. Somehow Gary found out and personally called me to express his condolences. As I told him, I will NEVER forget that he did this. I have now gotten the bike back and the repair has exceeded my wildest expectations The paint match is flawless!. Gary is to be especially commended not only because of the wonderful service he provided me. But more importantly for the compassion and warmth that he gave me when i needed it. He is a wonderful person and I greatly look forward to continuing our relationship.
