this should be a ZERO!!!! FIRST to say THERE the worst furniture store!!!!! Please save your time and money and go somewhere else where they will treat you much better. My experience as a first timer!!! I came to this place because of someone that told me they got there beds so I decided to check it out, found something I liked and at first the person that help us was kind. so we decided to go head with the purchase they told us it would ready for us to pick it up on Monday. I call on Monday to let them know im on the way to pick my order and at first they said that they will call me but after a few hours I decided to go. once at the store they told me to go on the back and wait until they get the product. waiting and waiting and calling with no response. I go back and now I saw there true self. giving me an attitude and being rude!!! they do have a worst customer service. finally having a discussion with one of the sales man and finally speaking with the manager I got the product. NOTICE there were something written on the box missing screws? so I ask and they said oh its nothing . so finally home looking at the box almost rip and written all over. open and find that there are missing screws and there were missing parts. even thought they guaranteed it!!! when I mean guaranteed it was by the manager!!! called again and no answered and called probably like 20 times finally spoke with the salesman and they said again they will call us? WTF!!! so I had gone back without the product and asked them for my money back. okay, the funny thing is that there receipt is the contract and it said something like 15% fee.... I wasnt going to let them keep any of that money because they truly dont know how to treat customers!!!! Im a fair person but if you lie to me in my face and dont have the guts to say sorry then thats it for me to come back!!! anyhow theyre were discussions and told them im not waiting for another product and I dont want it no more. and of course the manager disappear and no longer in the store. come on seriously!!! I know he was in the back hiding his ass off!!! NEVER COMING TO THIS STORE AGAIN. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, LYING MANAGER, SALES PEOPLE TALKING BAD ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE!!!!!!

All of the negative reviews are the truth about this place. Although I did receive my couches, I will NEVER do business at this place again. I went in this store on March 13th, and paid for my sofa and loveseat on March 19th. I was told they were out of stock and the manufacture would deiliver more during the first week of April. Fast forward to the first week of April- I was told that my delivery time would be between 10am-8pm...so I call the store (good luck ever getting someone to answer) to get a closer time window, and the sales rep told me that I would not be receiving my couches that day because they were still on backorder. I was very angry, as I was moving that day and had already gotten rid of my old couch. Had I not called THEM that day, I would have never known my couches were not coming. How pi**ed would I have been waiting from 10-8pm and nothing ever came. The rep promised they would be there next weekend; however, I was "promised" they would be there the first weekend of April. So the following Monday I actually called the manufacture and made sure they even delivered to Overstock Furniture. I had been trying to call the store for hours and no answer..there would be a fax machine noise, a house phone answering machince service, or someone who would answer and say they would call me back, and I never would receive a call back. I called one day from 11am-3pm and NO answer..what kind of customer service was that. I was prepared to go up to the store and raise hell, but my couches finally came on April 16th. Very shady place, I should have caught that the day I bought the couches and the manager told the sales rep I was working with to tell me the warranty was 129.99 but that I was getting it for 99.99$...like HELLO I was standing right in front of him!! This place is totally shady, I would never ever buy a thing from this place again. You get told different answers each time you finally get someone at the store to answer.. STAY away, stay away, stay away!!!!

Like other patrons, we were on a hunt for a bargain and ended up buying a valuable lesson. So heres the story, we found a dining room table by Ashley that was superb (product code: D-501) We made our third payment on the furniture today and happen to go to the Ashley Furniture Store in Woodbridge, VA to look at Bedroom Sets, I was telling our sales rep about our other Ashley purchase. He asked me to describe this set to him and I did. So, he pulls out a catalog and asks us if this was the table and we confirmed that it was. He goes on to say that the table was discontinued and walks us to a nearby computer and sure enough, it was discontinued. Shortly after, we returned to Overstock Furniture and I spoke with the Assistant Store Mgr and he said that it was true. I go on to ask him why wasnt the inventory verified before we placed the order? and How can you sell something that you dont have? He stated that the manufacturer is suppose to notify them if product lines were discontinued and they had no idea. I offered to sale us the floor model at 5% discount, I did the calculation and it came out to $31.59. We inspected the table with a fine tooth comb and discovered that a small piece of the base was missing. I showed it to the rep and made him an offer. I would buy the table in lieu of the minor damage at $439 plus, the $210 we had already put down. He made a call to the owner and stated that they couldnt do that. I then said, well can we apply the funds to the bookcase that we ordered? He said no, because we do not apply store credits to other invoices as these items were not sold at the same time. We then demanded a refund and I am awaiting a call from the store owner. I doubt that this will transpire. Word to the wise, you get what you pay for. So pay more, and get your furniture for a reputable supplier/retailer. All I have to say is, they have whats coming to them!

Poor quality, poor customer service, and I suspect they were trying to scam me! Here is what happened: I bought a large area rug, a bunk bed, 3 mattresses and a dining set from them. I went there twice to complete these purchases, and both times I had to wait at least 30 min for anyone to BOTHER to come and help me. I was so happy to be able to arrange a fast delivery but when the truck came with my furniture THERE WAS NO RUG!! And I had already PAID for the rug and the delivery! The delivery guy said they had told him the rug "wasnt ready" when he went to get the order. Wasnt ready?? It was in the store when I bought it! For the next week or so I called every day asking about the rug. They told me I would have to come pick it up. I explained that I dont even have a car and since I just moved here I dont know anyone who has a car, and that I already paid for delivery and demanded to talk to the manager. I was told the manager "wasnt there" or was busy every single time and was again told to come pick it up and I again explained why I cant and etc. I finally had to dispute the credit card charge for that rug which I still never got. The mattresses were okay. The bunk beds had a ladder with sharp clamps on the top that scratched the heck out of the wood finish. I was so pleased with my dining set until the screws literally fell out of one of the chairs and the seat is actually crumbling! Weve had chairs that have lasted 30 years and this lasted less than 6 months! There is a Regency Furniture next door and it may be a bit more pricey at times but I highly suggest you go there instead. I bought some things from them and they treated me right, and their furniture is much better!
