On Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4) I bought a gas range at the Sears store in South Burlington. I paid many extra dollars to have the new stove delivered, installed, and the old stove hauled away. It is now Sept. 23 and they still have not set up an appointment for me to have the new stove installed. I had the old stove pulled out two weeks ago in order to close up a hole in the wall (it was a JennAir). So for two weeks I have been stoveless. In addition, next week I have two generations of family coming to visit. How am I going to feed them with no stove? Sears should not sell installation services if they do not have the installers to perform the service. They tell me in order to cancel the installation and just get delivery I would have to cancel the entire order and start over. Thats not going to get me a stove in time for the family reunion. Even more terrifying, when I try to call the store itself (using the VRU prompt for store associate) the phone just rings and rings. No one answers it. Its a true "On the Beach" feeling. As hard as the economy is now, wouldnt you think that people would try harder to give good service when someone actually buys something, especially something as expensive as this (Kenmore Elite) stove?

I ordered a fridge at the end of December from the Sears in Burlington. The first delivery was cancelled by them and the second delivery they said they couldnt make it up the driveway. The third try they got here, hit the side of our house with their truck and then proceeded to destroy the fridge. They took it back and then we ordered a totally different fridge that they said would take 3 weeks to get. Waited 3 weeks and they sent the original fridge that we ordered. Returned that fridge and called the store. Talked to Dave in appliances and had to re-order the second fridge again and they said it would take yet another 3 weeks. Told him that wouldnt work for us, so he said he would work on it and get back to us. He never called us back, but we finally got a call from the delivery team saying they could only get it one week earlier. We will NEVER buy anything from Sears again. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Also, every time I had to talk to Dave at the store he would harass me about the service plan. Very unpleasant experience.

The people at the store are nice. However, Sears as a company is awful! I called their 1800MYHOME # to set an appointment to have a garage door opener serviced. The service tech they sent out, not only did not do a very quality job, but he did not provide any information on what would be needed to replace the motor. The current motor style is no longer offered by craftsman and a new motor style will be needed, including a new track. The service tech did not mention this to me. I will never by a thing from sears again, do not use their service center. When you can the # you get people from India! A US company, once again using cheap labor abroad.

Went to Sears with the intention of buying a dryer. No one greeted us in the appliance section, one guy was on the phone the entire time, a young woman was standing around with an Ipad, and another man strolled by to inform us that most of the front loading dryers were 27 inches wide and strolled away. We searched among the washers and dryers by ourselves for about 25 minutes. Discouraged because no one attempted to sell us anything, we left. There were no other customers in the department the entire time that we were there. You would never know Sears is teetering on the brink of survival.

Highly recommend this garage. Not only did they take on a challenging ball joint replacement on a Sunday afternoon, they stayed late until the job was finished. They spotted and fixed the potentially disastrous issue VT tire failed to see two days prior. They were incredibly helpful, informative and friendly. Ricky made sure we were up to date with the progress of the repair. My car has over 140k m on it and it is, once again, running like new. Thank you guys so much!

I hate going to Sears. Terrible customer service with regard to warranty and repair. Now they have an absurd return for giving in your vacuum cleaner. You have to get a slip from them and go across the road to the UPS store and give it in to them. Really! Then to add to my woes they cant even find my warranty and I have to call the store and they say I have a warranty but the actual repair place says I do not. Shireen McNabb

I love Lands End clothes and I normally buy online. This past weekend I visited the Sears that is almost two hours from my house. I bought some great fall items! I was going to wear a pair of pants Monday, but the idiot cashier forgot to take the sensor off !! So now I am stuck with pants that I cant where and I have to wait until I make another trip to Burlington to return them! I shouldve stuck to online shopping!

The Cashiers and managers were lazy. When walking in, no one says hi or welcomes you. The store is always a mess and can never find what i was looking for. Just not a pleasant place to visit.
