In general I love Best Buy. Ive been a gadget person since adolescence. The thing I have always appreciated at BB is the organization of the various products along with the even keel of the sales associates. They are not super quick to jump all over you, but if they notice you having a problem either finding something or making a product choice they will usually offer help or suggestions. Ive been to Best Buys in several states from the Northeast, to the South and the Southwest. I believe the personnel at the Waxahatchie, TX store need some form of further training. Now the store just opened maybe a little over a year ago so Ive been trying to cut them some slack, but it seems every time I go there I get disappointed. My last visit there I was looking for an AC adapter for my video camera, and the store had barely any people in it. There was over an hour left before closing. Try as I may I could not find what I was looking for. So I looked up at these two sales associates who were busy having a private conversation between themselves. One of them looks up, and I clearly made eye contact. Most sales people would get the clue that I needed help and move in my direction. Perhaps he also got that impression, but instead of coming over to greet me and offer assistance, he tapped his fellow employee on the shoulder and proceeded to move in the opposite direction. I suppose the conversation he was involved in took precedent over the needs of customers. Well finally another sales associate came over 5 minutes later. I explained to him what I needed.....an AC adapter. He then started showing me HDMI cables. Was "AC adapter" too technical? I then explained that I needed a power cord to connect my video recorder to a wall socket in order to charge the battery. Why then did he take me to *cell phone* accesories? Of course we did not find what I needed there and the poor guy was looking perplexed. At this point I knew he was clueless so I thought it best to thank him for his help proceeded on my way. I am not sure which is worse. Practically ignoring a customer who needs help or lacking the basic knowledge base to offer assistance to customers. I dont think every Best Buy is like this, but I do think the Waxahatchie stores comes up short in the customer service department.

I have travelled quite a bit the past few years, and I have been to many best buys here in the states. I have family located near this store and visited a few times. Every time, I was treated extremely well, and even if someone doesn’t know the answer to a question, they show great effort to learn and help. I have been asked if I needed help almost every time I went. I have visited so many stores that don’t give a damn about me. I will be there for about 30mins with no help and when I go looking, they are just standing around talking and not paying any attention to me. I forgot how to get there and looked it up through Google, and I can’t believe how many bad reviews are here about a fairly decent store. Geek Squad there helped me get my computer up and going right on the counter in 10mins, and didn’t even ask for any money, where other locations wanted to charge me $200+ to get it fixed. Great store, and many of my family members and friends would say the same.

Oct.7, 2014 I have been in the Waxahachie Best Buy many times and had mostly good experiences. But, Customer service is hard to get.False advertising so beware. Today I went in and noticed they were having 25% discount because of the holidays ahead. I had trouble getting someone to help me but someone finally did come after I went looking. I had noticed weeks ago the price of a certain appliance and have been watching for it to go down. The guy that came over said there was a 25% discount that had been taken. I told him that had been the price for weeks and it was not 25% off. Not a penny had been taken off. He continued to say that the price advertised was a sale price. I told him it was deceiving the public. So, be careful, they are advertising a 25% off sale but it is false there is NO mark-down. buyer beware...

Went to this store to get a computer. Found what I wanted and went to apply for line of credit. Seen there was 2 registers being used @ cust. serv., After waiting for about 10 min for us (wife & I) to be next, I noticed the other line was getting long as with mine, we step up to the counter and the guy just walks away, no eye contact or Ill be right back. The Customer she was helping walked out the door, thats when I went to him & asked him if he was going to help us @ the register. He said he was not cust. serv. Then told him why he did not acknowledge us or at least us know he would not be able to help us. he stayed quiet and as I walked away he said sorry. Went to the front door and told that guy he need to call a manger to cust serv. Waited another 10 min & manager never showed. So, I walked out.

I had the worst customer service experience of my life at this location. The customer service "Manager" was rude, insisted he was the only manager in the store (on the second busiest day of the year?) and refused to tell me his name (No name badge). When I insisted on his name he threatened to call the police if I did not leave. While I was aggravated by my treatment, I did NOTHING to deserve this. I dont normally write complaint letters, but I was so mad I wrote the GM by snail mail and their corporate office online. I recieved a simple response from the corporate office stating that the GM would be in touch with me. To this day (3 weeks later) I have not heard from ANYBODY. I will never shop at this BestBuy again. EVER!

terrible customer service...3 months and issue still not resolved. i have found that best buy has the worst customer service and follow up. Store manager dealt with me in the store and then followed up after i gave him a negative score on the survey; same manager called me to resolve the issue not realizing it was me and stated he would call me back, but never did. i have spent thousands of dollars with this company and its unfortunate that they allow their customers to be treated in such a sub par manner due to lack of customer service in the stores. This post will be reported to best buy but they wont do anything about it.

Ive been in this store twice, and both times were AWESOME. The first time, I was making a purchase, they met another stores bundle price, and I ended up with an even better deal than the one they were matching...several people got involved in helping me get the best choices. The second time, I was returning a 3DS that was giving me an error code 27 days after purchase. Again, awesome customer service...again, several people getting involved in helping me. I left with a brand new 3DS, a better case for it, etc. Thank you Sean, Terry, and Erica, you guys are awesome.
