I went in to purchase a label maker for my school. Found what I wanted online and could not find it on the shelf. Melissa took me to the kiosk to find if they were in stock. Though the computer showed there were 5 in stock at this store and 4 in chapel view, she proceeded putting in my information to special order the item. I told her I did not want to order the item, where are the 5 in store? She said I could go to chapel view to get it today or I could order it and wait. I asked to speak with a manager (Tom) who asked if she even checked the shelf for the item number or asked the associate working in the aisle. He then walked us over and asked another associate (Ryan) to help me. Ryan went above and beyond explaining the difference between the 2 I was looking at. Why couldnt Melissa do the same? I am a part time manager at a local retailer and know what customer service is supposed to look like. I suggest she have more training in customer service and servicing the customer until they are satisfied. Ryan saved this sale, great job!
Awful experience. Went to the print & copy center to print out a packet of papers, after waiting at the desk for about 5 minutes, the employee behind the counter was too busy to give me assistance. I took things into my own hands and logged into the computer to print out the papers i needed. I went to print them and their was no ink in the printer (keep in mind, you are charged more & more as time goes on + getting charged for each sheet of paper) I tell the employee the printer needs ink and they were unsuccessful at finding where the ink is stored. She tells me that I can email it to her and she will print it out, so i do that and ask for her to void my payment on the computer since it was unsuccessful. She charged me 70 cents for the papers to be printed while the computer charged me $8. Overall the employee and the manager didnt know how to refund me so I told them not to worry about it and walked out. I will not be going back there ever again. It is not about the money, because I really dont care about the $8, it is just the point.
The print services center is totally unprofessional. I put in an order for my resumes to be printed at 5pm that night, they said it would be done that night for me, and the day after I still hadnt received an email or a call about the job being done. I had told them I had a job interview at 9:45 am the next day, so it was crucial they were done that night or at least the morning after. Ended up being sent out of my job interview because they didnt see me as professional without my resumes. If the print center cant even make simple deadlines, what are they even good for? Thanks Staples, you cost me a job that would have allowed me to stop scrambling to pay my rent and college loans every month. Never going to this location ever again.
Awful experience. I went to the copy and print section and was half-greeted by an employee who seemed to regard me more as an inconvenience than an actual person. After asking for assistance with the printer/copier multiple times, I resorted to seeking out the manager who was equally unhelpful. They proceeded to discuss my situation as if I was not present, and in the end I was given no guidance and proceeded to solve the problem myself, spending well more than what I should have as a result (Faulty machine). Overall, an incredibly distasteful and underwhelming experience.
I just had the displeasure of shopping here. That is until I found out the bait and switch is approved sales tactics here. I went to buy an external hard drive. They had the one I was looking for and it was on clearance. They had 3 racks of them labelled clearance. I went to checkout they grabbed one from the back. It rang up full price I questioned it and was told sorry we are out of the clearance ones. The manager wouldnt even discuss the situation
BEST STAPLES VISITED IN 20 YEARS. STAPLES TECH LEXINTON KNOWS THE TECH HELP SIDE, AND IS PLEASENT TO TALK WITH. GOOD EMPLOYEE, HOPE THEY PAY HIM PROPERLY. THATS WHY PEOPLE DONT STAY PUT TODAY . EMPLOYERS DONT ASK THIER HELP ARE YOU HAPPY.I WAS TOLD BY OLD TIMER AT 15 .MONEY IS LIKE MANUER, IT DOES DO ANY GOOD UNLESS YOU SPEAD IT AROUND. WES HILL DERRY NH.
There is a beautiful girl at the register in the front. She is always smiling and happy for no good reason at all, one day I whent there in a bad mood and walked out with a smile one my face just by talking to her. Good customer service too, she signed me up to receive email receipts in order to waste less paper.
I called requesting stock of an item (then waited 5 mins on hold for them to "check"). I was told they had one in stock, I then asked if they could hold it, she said yes. When I got there, it wasnt up front waiting and they didnt actually have the model I specifically asked for. Very frustrating.
I cant imagine having the same problems some of the other reviewers mentioned. I have only found their sales and technical people to be extremely helpful and make certain your needs have been satisfied. They have never given me problems with returns and the register staff is always friendly.
My business has received fine service from the print staff. I emailed the docs to be printed on 2-part forms as I always do this time of year, as a small business owner I am happy with the follow thru! Andy / Roof Doctor Inc
Do not shop here. Steve the manager would not honor return policy. Offered me $3 for a $125 return and then called the police to get out of having to return the item. Steven should be fired.
The mostly male staff hangs out in corner of store doing their lockerroom talk and ignore people who obviously need assistance ....even when you approach them youre ignored.
The store would not take my card that offers 10% off and honor what was stated. I do not feel I can do business with them after being charged full price.
Awful experience with print services. The employee there was beyond rude, will never use again.
