I had always liked this store but recently things have changed. I usually have to shop during the time that I know the courteous cashiers are working otherwise it will be a total nightmare and I know I will walk out of there mad at how im treated. THEY HATE CUPONS AND GIVING OUT RAINCHECKS if a cashier sees you with cupons in your hand get ready for terrible treatment the other day i went to shop there the cashier that helped me told me he was gonna send me to customer service because he was tired of cuponers "bitching"all day I had said nothing but good morning to him and he was already insulting me I told him why would i have to go to customer service if I was not complaining he just went on to say that he had just ad a terrible morning. I cannot pay for others mistakes and I find myself in this situation more often than i want to this was not the first time that someone was rude to me at this store. When you ask for a rainchecks they tell you why did you wait until the last day to shop well because they run out of product the first day and they never have it again so thats why you find yourself asking for rainchecks I went about 6 time in one week to look for something that was in the weekly ad and never was able to get it and only one cashier was nice enough to give me a raincheck the rest would tell me they were all out. Twice have I handed a cashier a cupon for buy one get one free on a product and have not received the discount but they refuse to give me back the cupon because they said it was already scanned I would consider this fraud if Im not getting the discount and they are getting payed for it. They tell me to talk to customer service but its usually closed when I shop and when I come the next day they say why did I wait to make a claim. Its a frustrating situation to have to feel forced to stop using cupons in order to be treated with curtesy and respect.

Way overpriced (even their sale prices are higher than most things at Fred Meyer or Mega Foods), and theres always a ridiculously long wait in line because they never have enough checkers on staff no matter what time of day or how busy they are. To make matters worse, they recently got rid of the self checkout lanes, so even if you have just one item, youre stuck waiting in line behind people with full shopping carts. Gas PRICES are much higher than that of Top Tier stations like 76 down the street, but the quality is bottom of the barrel - TERRIBLE - and Ill never put it in my vehicles again.

Went to the florist to get a flower arrangement. The Florist was very rude and seemed unwilling to help me. I still placed an order l, asked if it could be finished thursday night so I could pick it up first thing in the morning friday. As I get there on friday the Florist was late and as she sees me she says "oh sorry, I thought you were gonna be late, Ill have it done in 10 min." I wait for an hour, she charges me full price, no discount, no apology or anything, now Im late for the ceremony and late with the flower arrangement. Thanks for the service Safeway. Last time I come here.

I would like to comment on the removal of the self checkout stations. It causes a serious bottle neck on the regular checkout stations. It was so convenient when you had just a few items to do it yourself. When I asked why they were removed it was said that it was because the self checkout stations couldnt accommodate the card reader devices. That seems like a poor excuse. The competition Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, etc. all have that convenience. I think this was a big mistake and you didnt think about your customers just your bottom line. Makes me rethink shopping at Safeway.

Pharmacy can never get your order in a timely manner. Order refill online early morning, cant pick it up till next day. Doctor put in prescription for basic antibiotics today, wait in line 12 minutes while they turn away every person telling them their orders wont be ready until next day. I get my turn, they only confirmed half my prescription and told me to wait until tomorrow. Cough Syrup and 20 pills of basic Antibiotics and I gotta wait till tomorrow for the one I need the most and cant get the other? Come on.....Thats a joke.

Parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out of. Occasionally I stop in for a late night snack Without having to drive up to Wilsonville for a king size snickers. I can never find them so I waste packaging on regulars. Now they have gotten rid of the self check out registers. I dont think i will be shopping here anymore.

Its big and clean with a good selection. Removing self-checkout, under the excuse that its incompatible, has made shopping here less pleasant with long lines. Also, gas here costs up to $0.30 more than at other gas stations. But Safeway prices in general have risen above other stores..

I find myself going here only when necessary or the coupons are good. The prices are high and the lines are long. Customer service is sporadically decent. The place is clean and well maintained. Traffic to exit is a big deterrent.

Stopped at the Woodburn Safeway store got chicken wings people over in the deli would not weigh them for me had to go somewhere else and they wouldnt weigh them.just put a number on them this is not acceptable for the deli .

Always clean and everyone is usually very helpful, only reason I give a 4 is because they took away the self check out and I have to stand behind elderly couples who carry a 20 min conversation with the check out clerks.

Slowest service ever. Have never waited in line for checker less than 10 minutes and tbat is considered really fast. Cant wait for another grocery option to change to in this town. Safeway, ur service sucks

Lines are almost certain to be ridiculous. Get a self checkout or staff up to where you should be. Gotta be hard on the 2 checkers you have working at one time, give them and your customers some help!

Great produce selection. But could improve there organic produce and have a bigger selection. They are also limited on there hormone and antibiotics free meat selection would like to see this improve.

Every year the store get worse and worse. Oven is always broken, soup bowls are hit and miss just like wingbar. Chinese food looks great but sometimes gives you the sense of eating out of an old barn.

Long lines since the removal of the self checkout. Not worth my time anymore, I will go to mega foods for less quality food but better then waiting 30 minutes in line because you have only 15 items.
