I went to Dead Gods to get a spur of the moment conch piercing. They were very friendly, easy to work with, and the piercer was very straightforward answering questions about gauge and healing time. He was quick and the studio was very clean and comfortable. The only thing off was that he gave me the strangest aftercare advice Id ever heard. I have one other cartilage piercing, and several close friends with a billion piercings, so Ive heard from day one that sea salt soaks will help keep your piercings clean and happy throughout healing. The piercer at Dead Gods suggested I get saline wound wash (sounds good!) and spray the front and back of my piercing every day, and thats all (hmm...). No cotton swabs to gently clean off the crusts. No mild anti-microbial cleanser. When I asked him about soaking it, he advised against it on the basis of error regarding strength of the salt solution. Which is true, if you add too much salt you can burn your piercing. All the same, I took his advice about wound wash, but used it to wet a cotton swab instead. Other than that, he was spot on with the standard aftercare speech (no touching, swimming in chlorine, twisting the jewelry, etc.) Six months later, I have had zero problems regarding infection, and they made sure I knew Id be welcome back if any issues arose. Go have a chat with the staff! Look at some portfolios! Know your studio!

I have a sweet Japanese style snake with incredibly bright and vibrant colors on my shoulder and chest that Joe inked years ago when both of us lived in Hawaii. Last year I decided that I was ready to get my sleeves done so it was a no brainer to look Joe up so he could do the work. So finding him working at Dead Gods Tattoo in Tigard, I took the trip from Tennessee to get tattooed. Joe is working on a Hawaii scene on one arm and Dominick is working on a fractal piece on the other. I couldnt be happier with the work I have gotten so far from them. At this point, I have a hard time picturing myself getting any ink from anywhere besides Dead Gods Tattoo. The skill of the artists just cant be beat. The staff is friendly and professional. The shop has a great relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for all day tattoo sessions. I would recommend them to anyone, just give them your idea and let them fill in the details. You will not be disappointed.

I got a tattoo on the arch of my foot here and it looks AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I went in and told him what word I wanted and the artist free handed it and worked with me and encouraged me to be picky when I was changing the little details on the piece so it was exactly right. He was and is an amazing tattoo artist I would recommend this place to ANYONE it is super clean and they were all so nice and friendly right away. The arch hurt worse than any other tattoo i have gotten and the hole time he was smiling and talking me through it. My friend who went with me said he is going to be getting a tattoo there asap. This place was and is amazing i say if you want a great tattoo at a great price with a great laugh this is the place to go HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear a lot of great things about Dead Gods, so I decided to give it a shot. As I entered there was lot to take in. Great art work, smooth customer service, and a lot of friendly regulars. As I was getting my tattoo started there was a lot of open talk between the owner and other artiest. As the owner was tattooing a young lady he was explaining to a fellow co-worker how he doesnt like, "girls holes to be tight". No, it didnt stop there.I felt bad for the girl as she was clearly uncomfortable. I really enjoyed my artiest as he was clean and did great work. I dont support open sexual talk around woman nor anyone. But in your own business? In front of woman? In front of customers? I wont go back and I definitely wont recommended Dead Gods Tattoo.

Will was awesome!!! You know when you build up anticipation for something that when it actually comes down to the event it doesnt live up to the hype? Well this wasnt the case for me. Will and the rest of the guys totally exceeded my expectations and I am fairly particular. He made sure to take time with me in design and seemed to have all the patience in the world. During the tattoo it was relaxation and fun conversation with the other artist. It had been 15 years since my last tattoo so it felt like it was the first time again and they were great. The after care instructions were clear and concise and healed withing a couple days. I am so happy with the finished product I am starting to plan my next tattoo!!

worst attempt at tattoo experienced thus far. Although i agree with shaun, good music and relaxin environment due to lack of professionalism. It took 4 hrs and 3 attempts to draw up a piece no bigger than a dollar bill. Price was set on 1st attempt though size and quality decreased with each following. I was never asked for Identification and promptly left after a series of "oh here give me another second ill try again". Upshot walk-ins are welcomed, appointment booking seemed nonexistent while down the road Skin City Tattoo was fully booked up to a month in advance. Apparently there is a reason the gods of this establishment as well as the client base appear dead...

25% of body covered in tattoos here. Its a nice studio, but the receptionist was extremely annoying. He constantly went on and on about how one of my tattoo was not "true" Japanese style. Even though it was done in Japan. By a Japanese national. -and it was a copy of traditional Japanese art. Artists were pretty good though. They had a weird obsession with doing fully original work. They really, really dont like it if you bring in your own artwork. And, if you do, they expect you to have the artists permission. Ironically, most of the artists had at least one recognizable art piece tattooed on them. They do good work and the prices are typical.

Do yourself a favor and go here if you need a tattoo. The place is clean, they accommodate walk ins when they can and everyone there is nice and helpful. All of the artists are great, but I recommend Keoki. I cant tell you how happy I am with the tattoo he did for me. It is a masterpiece and Keoki is such a nice person. He really cares about you as a person, not just a customer. The price he charged was amazing, given how much work and how much of himself he put into the tattoo he did. I looked around a lot before settling on Dead Gods Tattoo and am so glad I did.
