From start to finish, Broadway Furniture earned my loyalty as a customer for life. The experience began with Codie, the sales rep on the floor the day that my wife and I walked in the door. He was present but did not try to steer us to what he wanted us to buy. He came forward if we had a question and then dropped back and even vanished a few times so that we never felt like we were being pressured. Having just purchased my first home, I shopped everywhere else first. Broadway was my last stop and I actually had my doubts. However, I am a writer and I read reviews regularly. It helps that I can discern between a "troll" and an actual customer with a complaint. Even more impressive was Codies admittance to being the salesman referred to negatively in one of the Broadway reviews. After seeing very little to be excited about when it came to quality AND customer service from the bigger "Box Stores" in the area, I had almost come to expect that this would be a miserable experience and no matter what I would be disappointed on some level. Broadway Furniture has changed my view. When a last second snag came up (don;t they always) just prior to signing, the guys (Codie was actually off that day and this is a testament to how this place works as a team) actually cancelled the order and sent a confirmation letter to the mortgage broker stating that the contract had been voided. Once the glitch was handled and the house signed for, we moved forward with setting up delivery. THEN another issue arose when my royalty check was delayed due to the Easter holiday! The delivery of my order was AGAIN postponed. No questions, no hassles. When the day finally came and the furniture arrived, Jacob and Ryan were amazing and very conscientious of my property. They brought everything in and set it up, adjusting the lay out until I was happy and even calling me in to double check that things were how and where I wanted them. We will be buying a dining room set in a month or so and there is NO QUESTION where we will go. You might pay a little more, but you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. And my furniture is as much as an investment in my home as anything else. Why pay all that money for a house and then furnish it with covered pressboard and then HOPE it holds up?

I really wish there was a zero. The WORST service ever. I am STILL waiting for furniture to arrive. I bought 2 tables in Sept and when they came in one was damaged so they had to order another one. 5 weeks later I am still waiting. No phone call to update me no apology, no nothing. So I call them and he says he will have to call me me back. Do you think he did? Nope!!! So I call back before they close and then he calls me back 10 minutes later and says "the table just came off back order yesterday and now we have to wait for the truck to fill up before they bring it here" seriously? So I asked when that would be. He says "Ill let you know tomorrow" well its tomorrow....and do you think he called? Nope. Perhaps if you buy something that is there or off the floor you might have a better experience but if its not in stock. DONT BUY IT. It will takes at least 6 weeks to get it and thats if you call every week and ask because they dont believe in keeping a customer informed. They argue with you on the phone, defend their actions of screwing up and really dont care. Hey they got their money so what does it matter right. Some lady that works there tells me "well your the one complaining so tell me what you want" all snooty like. what the crap kinda service is that?

After having a long day of furniture shopping and the worst experience at another furniture store. We deiced to stop into Broadway to see what they had. My wife and I walked up to the door at 5:50 PM, they closed at 6:00. I was ready to walk away but we went in and were greeted by Jerry. I apologized to Jerry right away for coming in so late. He smiled big and said "no problem!" We explained to Jerry that were were looking for a couch/love seat combo and he showed us exactly what we were looking for. When we told him that we were unsure if we wanted a love seat because of how it may fit in our living room and asked for his advise, he encouraged us not to buy the love seat and just get the couch for now and we could always get the love seat later. We bought the most beautiful couch and found that you CAN NOT put a price on the service that Jerry provided us. Stayed open late for us, didnt force more sales at us. It is obvious why Broadway Furniture has been in business for 80 years! I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Jerry, See you next time! Stephen and Keely S.

I came to this place looking for a couch. My fiance ended up falling in love with an Ashley sectional. I did some shopping around and found the same set at a discounted price. I informed Ken at Broadway that I was going to get the couch at a local competitor and he refused to lose me as a customer and beat the price I was offered. I was very pleased with this. I purchased the couch and they told me it would take from 6 to 8 weeks to deliver. It arrived early by about 2 weeks. When they came to set it up, I was about 5 minutes away from my house when the delivery guys arrived. I apologized for the inconvenience and they assured me that it was ok and waited for me to arrive, which is unheard of. The deliver guys were very polite and patient. I received the best service all around from Broadway furniture and would recommend them to anyone that wants more than just a quick buy and someone trying to make some money off of you.

REALLY? ... have any of these people shopped around before they submitted their review ? ... or does Broadway simply delete all of the bad reviews? We walked into broadway and were imediately greeted ... kind of like you would be at a CAR DEALERSHIP ! ... then followed around the store and hounded... kind of like you would be at a CAR DEALERSHIP ! We have been shopping for furniture for two rooms in our new house for about two weeks and this is by FAR the worst store we have been to. It is completely run down with old shag carpet that looks like its been there since the 70s and never cleaned ! ... we felt like we were at a Salvation Army Store ... (wait... that really isnt fair to salvation army stores ... they are nicer) Save yourself the trip. The prices were considerably higher than other stores and even higher than they have advertised on their own website. Broadway Furniture was a HORRIBLE experience!

I was very impressed with the service I found at this store. Admittedly, I went to the store with a specific item (a single size mattress) so I didnt spend any time just browsing. However, when Jerry (salesman? owner?) met me and determined what I was looking for, he lead me directly to their products. He gave me the basic prices of all their stock, from cheapest to most expensive. He also gave me a brief benefits / cost analysis of each choice. I felt no pressure towards any particular item, and felt like I was getting the "just the facts" that I needed. It was very comfortable and relaxed experience. If I need any furniture in the future, I plan on making this store either my first, or one of my first stops. Its a good place to shop. (BTW, I am not receving and financial or material remuneration for this review, no do I work for this business! Im truly just a satisfied customer!) Joaquin
