Disappointing, at best. This review is written with the understanding that there are far more pressing problems in the world. My experience at the restaurant reminded me of a certain Seinfeld episode that featured an irritable soup monger. Despite the restaurant being empty, a server snapped at me for grabbing a table with my 3 year old, saying that we could get a table after we had ordered. When I told this individual my wife was ordering, they stated that we needed to wait until they assigned us a table. After I took my rambunctious toddler for a walk around the block, I saw they "assigned" us the same table we had initially grabbed. In a town with such great food, it was apparent that more effort had gone into creating a precious visual experience for customers, rather than making them feel welcome, physically comfortable or creating original and delicious dishes. My breakfast was something I could have easily made, the coffee was weak, and when our server deigned to bring us our food, they pointed to a tray of condiments and grunted "...if you want hot sauce, its over there." When I mentioned this experience to some co-workers the next day, two of them had similar stories about the restaurant, feeling unwelcome there and communicating how they would not be returning. Some suggestions for ownership: If youre going to worry more about your procedures than your customers experience, put your rules on the front door and at the front counter, then gently remind customers instead of snapping at them, especially when the restaurant is empty. If the customer is going to have get their own coffee, bus their table, and generally take care of themselves, it might be worthwhile considering if your pricing model is realistic for the type of food youre serving.

I went to try Milk Glass Market with my husband. I stayed at the counter to place our orders, while my husband took a seat at a table. Rather than taking our order, the counter person insisted my husband could not take a seat until he had ordered. sometimes, excessive standing is difficult for a 75 year old. Sadly, we will never know if their food matches the review we read. The surly counter person made us leave.

Quaint cafe on Killingsworth that is nice quick weekend spot for some delicious home-baked goods. Chic decor and limited seating make it a cozier spot than most in the area. Limited, non-traditional breakfast options are on the menu, but your beverage choices will make up for that. The pastries and sandwiches are great and light enough where youll feel like youve made the right decision.

Small, cute and delicious. Got some biscuit sandwiches to go and they were amazing. Fresh from scratch and cooked to perfection. Little dinosaurs on the windowsill kept my daughter busy while we waited. We will be back! Pricy sandwiches take away a star, but Im often a scrooge. Still worth it.

Cute place, but overpriced. The breakfast cheddar biscuit was horrible and greasy dripping with an overabundance of cheese. The brown butter almond cake was delicious but very small and shocked at the charge of $7.50 for the size of a muffin or danish which run ~$3.50-$4.50 at most places.

Went there for the first time the other day. The food was good and will probably go back and try something new. I only gave 4 stars though because I was disappointed that they didnt have free wifi. I had come to sit and work on my laptop and I was not able to do that.

When they say gluten free options, they just mean that youll get your breakfast served on a bed of gritty, bitter spring salad. My family liked their biscuits, but 2 fried eggs and enough ham for only 2 bites is not worth $10. Coffee was weak and burned tasting.

Elevated brunch/lunch fare that has been consistently amazing every time Ive gone. Have had a hard time straying from the eggs and greens which is my favorite dish, but Ive been delighted by everything Ive tasted. One of my favorite NoPo haunts.

This place is stunning! At the end of Killingsworth, milk glass markt is by its own as far as coffee goes. Their selection of pastries is phenomenal and the people are wonderful! The interior is light-filled and most definitely beautiful!

The menu is limited but thats ok....everything sounded good and the biscuits were killer. Coffee is good, and self serve so you get up for refills. Its a small cafe in a small neighborhood and I really liked the feel.

Great neighborhood place with delicious baked goods and other breakfast and lunch fare. Theres also a small, but growing selection of market/pantry items for purchase. Really cute space and great customer service!

Overpriced for quality. Pretty looking food. Hip looking staff. Pale runny egg over mediocre salad. Wouldnt sell side of biscuit without paying 6.50 to get it with jam. Sub par coffee.

Delicious veggie Sammy and we got the burrata plate which was on special . Both were absolutely superb. Interesting and eclectic seasoning . New Portland breakfast and lunch staple.

The bread pudding is incredible. Get it with the marscapone. I just kept saying, "oh my God" over and over. And the vibe is great here, plenty of outdoor seating too

Food was not bad. Bread there is a bit overwhelming for their sandwiches. Was like and 80/20 ratio of bread to ingredients

Amazing food and service. Its not a place to eat a pile of eggs and meat; focusing on smaller dishes with subtle flavors.
