I found this shop when looking for a place to buy a YETI ASR mountain bike frame. They have YETI, Intense, Turner, Rocky Mountain and others. I bought my ASR frame after taking a complete ASR out for a demo. They made me feel totally comfortable with the purchase and have been a great source for advice and support as I have been building up my custom YETI. I like this shop because it is run by really nice people that are truly looking out for you and your bike. You can go here for everything from a flat fix to a suspension fork rebuild and Jim will take good care of you, most likely fix it himself. Did I mention they sell YETI? If you live in Oregon and want YETI, you go here, or you drive to Golden, CO.

A pretty poor experience. Shorter version: Was told it would be $20 to get a new chain put on a bike. Once chain was on the bike, was told it would be $35 after $15 install fee. I have no problem paying for work, just would like to know about it ahead of time when I make a point of inquiring into cost. They did reduce the install fee by $10 when I complained. Shouldnt have had to complain. Bike returned with no air in one tire and fender bent. Was told I had a flat. Did not have a flat. Definitely not up to par with other Portland bike shops.

This shop is the greatest shop that has ever existed. Sue and Jim are the most awesome shop owners you will ever find, and they can help with whatever bike issue you need to take care of. Jim is the greatest mechanic I have ever met, and Im still not entirely convinced that he isnt a wizard, because I cant explain his genius with bikes. These people know bikes, and these people know how to treat people, and that isnt always a common combination. If you need anything for your bike, or even need a new bike; Oregon Bike Shop is the place to go.

I really love this place! I am so incredibly happy that its my neighborhood shop! Jim and Sue are so friendly and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers and bikes! On top of the great customer services their prices are beyond reasonable! They put my bike together and gave it a tune up, while explaining to me what was going on, for only $65! I will be giving ALL of my business to this little shop!

My new favorite neighborhood shop! Excellent, kind and knowledgable employees coupled with timeliness and professionalism gives this company an advantage over the competition. Not a lot of bikes to choose from but quite a few accessories at completely reasonable prices. I plan on doing a lot business with them in the future and telling all my friends how much these guys rock!

Twice Ive been to their shop, and while theyre nice people, the results have been less than desirable. Both times, the work has been rushed and as a result the quality suffered. The second time in they hadnt even started working on my bike at the time it was due to be completed. The impression I got was theyd rather be working on their own or their friends bikes.

Came in looking for some supplies for a used bike. Jimmy was running the place- sweet fella who answered a bunch of my questions while I browsed. Recommend calling ahead about inventory if youre looking for accessories and parts; its more of a mechanics shop than a retail space, but theyve got some cool stuff around.

Several times Ive taken my bike in for minor repairs (for which they havent charged me) and they did a great tuneup too. It is very obvious that they love bikes as they take loving care of my little hybrid as tho it were a 5000 dollar bike.

The kind of bike shop that cares about what they do. Im glad one of the several great bike shops in Portland are in my neighborhood. :) Great service from awesome people at fair prices. What more can ya want?

Love this bike shop. Always got a fair price and quality work, treated with kindness and respect. Good peoples. Ive seen the owner bend over backwards to help out his clientele in unique situations.

They were super nice to me and really talkative which I liked. Id been stressing about my bike all day and showed up near closing and they still helped me out until it was fixed. Great place.

Very friendly and helpful folks. I had a problem with a pedal on a trike and they were able to get it on. Cool bike shop. Have lots of vintage bikes.

A great small shop. Good MTB and cyclo-cross (general off road cycling) selection. Jim is a great guy, super nice.

Confusing description on Google - the shop doesnt have rentals. Other than that, great staff!

They took the time to fix the problem, instead of just repairing the flat, many thanks
