Salesman A promises that the vehicle Im looking for is "on its way and will be here soon." Also promises to sell it to me for just under 17k. They appraise my car, score it ALL 10s, fall in love with it and promise to take it on trade PLUS give me "a couple thousand cash on top of the deal, for sure". The vehicle they promised was available becomes unavailable. They pass the buck. But "No worries, we have another one almost just like it already coming from auction, will be here next week." I make the trip across the state of Oregon AGAIN, only to get there late at night, after hours and find it not there. Arrive in the morning - still not there. "Guaranteed, itll be here tomorrow, its at the detail shop now." SO MY FAMILY AND I STAY THE NIGHT IN A MOTEL, JUST TO FINALLY GET A GLIMPSE OF A VEHICLE & DEAL IVE BEEN PROMISED TWICE. This vehicle, too, becomes unavailable, though, like the first, was PROMISED TO BE AVAILABLE; no ifs ands or buts. Buck passed, yet again. Also, when I arrived that morning, salesman A decided to take the day off without setting up my appointment, after I just drove my family across the state and put us all up in a motel, naturally at MY EXPEN$E. No one had a clue why I was back, what vehicle I was supposed to be seeing, much less buying... the ball was COMPLETELY DROPPED. In 3 days I txtd Salesman A 4 times.... NO RESPONSE. Salesman B promises to contact me when another vehicle comes up that Id be interested in (.... havent heard a word). By now its the last week of July. So NOW a month later....I call them, talk to the owners son, I think, tell him the story, and ask if theyre still interested in buying my car, since Ive found the perfect vehicle to buy elsewhere. (Remember, they were going to do a straight trade + cash for my car.) He kinda apologizes, tries to get me to see everything his way and acts like its no big deal as he PASSES THE BUCK yet again. "Salesman A isnt with us anymore" like that TOTALLY CANCELS OUT ALL THE GARBAGE THAT HAPPENED BECAUSE OF HIS ESTABLISHMENT?!?! NO, THAT FIXED NOTHING FOR ME THE WOULD-BE CUSTOMER, HELLO!?!? Tells me hell talk to the owner to see if they want to buy my car outright. Considering the truck they were gonna trade me for + cash, I was asking well below what they originally offered. (Ive studied literally thousands of both of these vehicles for months - I KNOW both markets) "Ill contact you Saturday" he says. Saturday comes, NOTHING. I call, only to be told that "hes very busy this morning and requests that YOU call HIM back in an hour" - like hes Lord of the Flies or something. I explain that HE was overdue to contact ME, Im in meetings all day starting now, and he needs to contact me. STILL NOTHING. After calling TWO MORE TIMES, I finally get a call back from some random little messenger, telling me that my price is too high and they will not be buying my car. Have a nice day. Click.--- No options, no questions, no ANYTHING........... for all the LIES, Smoke & Mirrors (as described by another car dealership manager when told this story), Inconvenience and WASTED TIME & MONEY. NEVER BEEN TREATED WORSE AT A DEALERSHIP... ESPECIALLY AFTER GOING THROUGH SO MUCH TROUBLE. IT DIDNT MATTER TO THEM - ITS NOT ABOUT THE CUSTOMER IN THEIR OPINION, only in their empty promises and good-guy set-up spiel. Insult to injury, their water cooler wasnt cool, they had no ac in the waiting-to-be-shysted room and the manager (salesman A) had nothing but bad to say about his fellow employees and their poor work ethic and lack of professionalism. And that was pretty much the only thing said that proved out to be true :-

Dont buy a car from this dealership unless youre somebody with bad credit, so that it wont matter when they screw you over. They said all the right things over & over again, though I was reluctant to sign at that time, but since I made the special trip up there to "see" if the car was really what I wanted...it had a Lemon Carfax report from CA with extended warranties from the manufacturer so ensuring me that between this dealerships 90 day warranty & the dealers, they were sure that I would more than pleased with this car. So... pending some "cosmetic fixes" and the warranty paperwork, they said that they would fix the cosmetic parts & have the warranty paperwork by Monday morning, this was Sat night...I agreed to sign papers to save time for Monday (since I had work in the afternoon), but if I wanted to change my mind by Monday it would be fine, but assured me that I was getting a GREAT deal and a GOOD car and that I wouldnt change my mind. I have excellent credit & was just looking for something FUN to drive, so when Monday came around...they didnt have the paperwork, wouldnt get it till Tues now; I told them that I wasnt interested in purchasing the vehicle anymore and they told me that since I signed, I had to buy. I picked up the car on Tues, still took forever...they told me that the car parts should be in next week....its been two months and Ive called a half dozen times and they never have answers, salesman or parts guy is never available nor do they return calls. Funny though, the first couple of times, I would get calls back from salesmen leaving messages about, "we see that you called, sorry we missed you, please give me a call and let me know what car youre interested in!" SERIOUSLY!!!???? In the beginning there was car salesman confusion, is it Dave or James...it was the same person. Dont know why they seem to have more than one name. I was pressured into signing and my good deal (I didnt NEED to have this car). Now that they are not calling me back and probably still dont have the parts even on order...the whole experience makes my stomach turn, I dont care about the car because the whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I guess, I will have to get my lawyer involved to get their "WE OWE YOU" taken care of once and for all!! Dont buy a car from these shady people, go to the big name dealers...they take good care of their customers before and after your purchase.

I was in the market for a truck to pull my boat when we got a lead from Carz Planet. Yes, that one with the 15555 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Milwaukie, OR address. We spoke on the phone with a salesman named Josh. He said that they had a Chevy Suburban year 2000 with a 454 engine that was just turned in by a man who traded this vehicle in on a newer model. He sent us pictures in text message and they looked very good. We came down to the dealership to look at the truck, popped the hood and listened to it run. It sounded ok to me. I am NOT a mechanic so I dont know exactly what to listen for. We did check the oil and came out fine. Josh told me the owner of the engine claimed it was legitimate. Meaning its a very solid engine. So we did take it for a drive it sounded fine we came back and I made the deal. One little problem, once I got the paperwork signed which was naive on my part, we signed the papers on the hood of the vehicle in the dark. Never will do that again! Come to find out the next day it is not a year 2000 it is a 1995 and it only has a 350 engine in it, not a 454. Drove it the next day and I started to hear a knocking sound. I did not like the sound of this and took it to my mechanic. After two to three different opinions all three mechanics said that a lower end tie rods going out. There is no easy way to fix this the engine is either shot or it will be very expensive to repair. In short, the engine was no good. This was less than 24 hours after I bought the vehicle. I called and ask for Josh he was not available. (Of course, right? Called ID probably showed up on his phone) I ask for the manager which was a man named Greg. He said everything I told him was BS and to enjoy my vehicle. I said, are you serious? He said, enjoy your vehicle and have a nice day. So I wrote this review to warn you the potential customer and try to protect you from being ripped off. Its the least I can do to help you avoid being scammed. I could not believe his attitude after I gave them cash for this purchase. I did not try to go lower on the purchase I gave them what they wanted. I would never recommend this company ever and I will never set foot on their property again. Watch out they are crooks!!!
