Thank you Ania Bridal and Kelly for helping me find my dream dress! I highly recommend that you use Ania Bridal to find your wedding dress. After some pretty mediocre experiences trying on dress at other salons, I was so happy to find this place. Other places just threw me in a tiny dressing room to fend for myself with these gigantic dresses. These things are not easy to try on! No real guidance as far what works best for your style as well as your body shape. In comes Ania! I was so pleased with Ania Bridal. I went by myself for the first time to just narrow down what I wanted without too much outside opinion. Kelly was so wonderful. I was comfortable with her right away. It really felt that she listened to what I wanted and was determined to find the right dress for me. She suggested I have an open mind and I ended up finding a dress that isn’t even what I was originally looking into. However, t fit my style and body shape perfectly. I ended up finding the perfect dress that makes me feel beautiful and I cannot wait to wear it! She also really understood my vision and always had great suggestions. The dressing rooms are roomy and your stylist helps you try on your dresses. So prepared to get cozy with your stylist, but so worth the help in getting your dress on :) My dress came exactly when I was told it would and fit almost perfectly! Each time that I went in to the salon, or called, all of the stylists were genuinely friendly and excited for you, your wedding and your dress. They also walked me through the process in getting the dress altered and perfect for my wedding day. I have recommended friends go here and you too! This place was wonderful. All the stylists were wonderful, but Kelly was above and beyond. After I had chosen my dress, she even sent me a handwritten card. It was so sweet! ***Just keep in mind with everything considering your wedding, including your wedding dress, keep an open mind :)

I had a really amazing experience at AniA. I scheduled an appointment really short notice, and whoever I talked to on the phone was super helpful and friendly. They accommodated my huge group (10 total!!) so kindly, setting up extra chairs for us and never making us feel unwelcome. Definitely schedule a weekday appointment if you have a larger group- we went on a weekday when it was nearly empty in there, which made it such a good experience for all of us. At first glance, the place is not great to look at- there was a group of homeless men and women hanging out on the front stoop, and the interior of the shop isnt "trendy" or anything. But the place is spacious and you forget about the outside when you start your appointment. My consultant, Shelley, was AWESOME! Highly recommend her. She put zero pressure on me, even telling me that I should not buy that day because it was my first time dress shopping. She pulled my perfect dress first based on a very vague description I gave her, and pretty much every other dress was on point too. She really listened to me and was able to help me put into words what I wanted when I couldnt figure it out. She was very encouraging but also helped me to say no when I needed to! I cant recommend her highly enough! Overall this was the perfect dress shopping experience- it may not have all the trendiness and glamour of some places, but it was comfortable, friendly, and zero-pressure. And I found my beautiful dress for a great price. Woohoo!

Because my experience with the sales team was extremely positive, I did not feel the need to question the judgement of Jennifer, their long-time alterations gal. BIG mistake. My last fitting was 3-4 weeks prior to my wedding. She pinned my trumpet style dress to fit like a glove and told me that she would take care of everything. When I asked if I should have another fitting just before the wedding, she did not feel it was necessary. I trusted her judgement. I think because Jennifer was overbooked, she forgot about my wedding. She was well over an hour late to deliver my dress, it was not steamed, the sash was wrinkled, veil wrinkled, she did not sew in the cups as she had promised (and I did not have a bra because she said she would take care of the dress) and worse yet, the dress was baggy in the hips and butt and not fitted through to the knee as a trumpet style should have been. I think Jennifer forgot about my wedding and ran over to deliver last minute without doing the alterations she should have. It shows in all of my wedding pictures and to this day, I cannot stand looking at my dress in my wedding photos. It is very upsetting. In addition to all of the things wrong with my dress, Jennifer did not do the alterations on one bridesmaids dress NOR one of my flower girl dresses as she had promised. I cannot get my wedding day back nor can I fix the pictures.

Great selection of dresses within a wide range of budgets, the staff are very helpful and supportive, not overbearing or pushy at all. They definitely helped me feel like I was looking my best in the dress that I chose, and they did a great job helping me pick the right one! Highly recommended! It was a really fun experience! The sales associate who helped me was Jennie, and she was great! Very enthusiastic and ready to help me find something I was excited about. She definitely picked out some dresses that I wouldnt have looked at twice but ended up being great, and helped me find the perfect dress that feels like me. We had an appointment at Silver Lining later in the day that was cancelled just as we were leaving AniA due to a fire in another part of the building Silver Lining is in, which just sealed the deal on the dress I had picked out at AniA. AniA told us to go have lunch anyways, and think about it a little more (were from out of town and only had a day or two in Portland). We returned in the afternoon ready to order our dress!

This salon is great and Rachel is amazing! I live in California, but planned to look for my wedding dress in Portland (my hometown) back in February. I found out about AniA from a friend from law school who happened to know Rachel, one of the consultants. I am super tall (nearly 64") and was really worried about finding a dress that flattered and fit my height. Rachel is tall too (although not nearly as tall as me) and was super helpful picking dresses that would look great on me. I thought I wanted a fitted lace dress, and she pulled some of those for me, but she also pulled some other dresses that she thought would look great on me. Ultimately, I absolutely LOVED one of her picks, which wasnt anything I thought I wanted. Also, I gave her a budget of $2-$3K and the dress I ended up getting (her pick) was $1600! Brides in Portland (and super tall brides) definitely check this place out! (And if youre really tall, ask for Rachel!!) .

Ania Bridal was everything I dreamed of and more. When my mom and I first entered the store, we were greeted, offered a drink, and shown to our room, which was spacious, well-lit, and terribly cute. Our stylist, Elizabeth, came and met us and instantly I knew this was going to be a wonderful experience. She took the time to know me not only as a bride but as a person. She made it feel like we were longtime girlfriends. It only took one dress and both my mom and I were in tears and knew it was the one. It only took one because Elizabeth listened to what I wanted and didnt try to get me to try on dresses that werent what I wanted. It was truly a memory that I will never forget. The entire staff was professional, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. It was very apparent that the employees of Ania love what they do and love making their brides feel as gorgeous as they are. They are the absolute best bridal shop in Portland.
