TERRIBLE EXPERINCE. This relates primarily to the autobody repair side of this dealership. I brought my car here for auto body repair and painting after a minor collision about a month ago. I brought my subaru here since they have some of the best reviews and several other shops recommended them. They needed a week to repaint the car and replace a door/fender. 1ST VISIT:A week later I go to pick up my car and I notice issues with the paint that you can see 5 ft away. Cracking under the paint, no color on parts of the car, parts not even painted. The auto body manager JIM BACON made light of the issues, argued with me and said some of the parts of the car were too difficult to paint correctly. Said he would "see what he could do" to fix the problems. (I brought a subaru car to a subaru dealership) 2ND VISIT: Again before I get out of my rental car I can see that some of the issues I complained about the first time were not even addressed, and some of the fixes look sloppy and quick (visible from 5 ft away). Parts of the car were still not even painted, other parts that were never supposed to be painted are painted. This time I speak with the general service manager STEVE who gave me his personal assurance it would be right the 3rd time. 3RD VISIT: I get the car and it looks mostly okay, however parts that were previously perfect are damaged. I can see metal through parts of the paint where they tired to hide these mistakes. The inside of the car is covered in paint sanding dust, scuffs on the interior, and dirt. Some of the paint has dirt dried into it, so it cannot be washed off. Paint finger prints on parts of the car, overspray on the windows. At this point I have been without my car for a month, and I do not feel this dealership can actually do the job right. I took the car home. The sales manager offered to detail my car and give me a tank a gas for my trouble, but I feel I need to get the paint fixed by competent people. I paid 3800$ for crappy work, and I will NEVER EVER give this place my business again. I will update this review with new information if it comes.

This is my first Subaru and I love it! My last vehicle was great for everything except snow and icy hills. We now live on hill which gets icy in the winter, and I was tired of parking at the bottom of the hill and walking home. I talked to MANY people about what type of vehicle to get and the answer came back "Subaru", over and over and over. So having heard great things about Gresham Subaru specifically, down I went to test drive an Outback and a Forester. I was greeted by several sales staff all cheerfully waiting to assist me with my decision. Laura Kerr was the first to greet me and we got started immediately. She was unfailingly cheerful, polite, and most importantly, she listened to what I was looking for. On the rare occasion when she didnt directly know the answer to a question, she found someone who did instead of trying to just bluff through it. I really respect that. Honestly, I wasnt planning on purchasing this quickly, but they had a great sale going and a vehicle on the lot that had everything I wanted. They were very open about costs and never at any time tried to hard sell anything, including options. I drove both models 2 times each, very thoroughly (btw, they have a great test drive route that allows you to get up to freeway speeds, take tight turns, slam on brakes, etc. No puttering around a parking lot here!). I decided on the Forester. This was the fastest Ive ever made a decision about buying a car. However, I was so impressed with the vehicle that I went ahead. I am completely satisfied with both the vehicle and the purchasing process. Laura was great about helping me figure out the best fit for me, Ken gave me a great trade in value on my used vehicle, and Bryan and Jim in the service department were very friendly and helpful about getting my Forester in quickly to add the protective coatings. I am delighted with all aspects and have been recommending Laura and Gresham Subaru to everyone.

Wonderful overall experience! My husband and I had stopped by on a whim over a weekend. We just wanted to look at some of the newer models and werent really interested in buying just yet. The saleswoman, Betsy, was incredibly understanding and walked us all over the lot. We had our dog with us and she said we could bring her with us on our walk so she didnt have to sit in the car. We decided to come back for a test drive when Betsy was there. We arrived for our appointment yesterday and sadly Betsy had been sick so wasnt in :( and we spoke with a Tracy. He gave us a test drive of the exact car we wanted and was very friendly and informative. The worst part of buying a car is always the part that comes after... except at Gresham Subaru! We wanted to keep our other vehicle but still owed 9 months of payments on it and didnt want 2 car notes. They offered to roll our previous note into the new one at a much lower interest rate and we told them how much we were willing to pay. Tracy came back with $2 under what we wanted! This is honestly the first time Ive seen them come back with EXACTLY what we requested. There were no games. There was no "back and forth" deal making. We were treated with respect and, in the end, left as friends. It was an amazing experience and we plan on making all future vehicle purchases through Gresham Subaru. They truly provide stand out service. Edit: A year later and weve returned to Gresham Subaru to purchase another vehicle. Our experience last year was definitely not a fluke. Great experience with our salesperson Maurice. He looked all over and found us the exact car we wanted and help get the price into our budget. Well be back again Im sure!

My partner and I went into Gresham Subaru simply to see how our dog crate would fit into the Forester and the Outback. We knew we were in the market to buy a new car, but had no intentions of purchasing on that day. We were hooked up with Betsy who immediately won us over. She was funny, knowledgeable and most of all honest. She showed us the newest "white elephant", a used Forester that was not only impeccable but had super low miles. She suggested a test drive and as they say, the rest is history. As we waited to talk to Eric in financing, we expressed to Betsy how concerned we were about talking to him. We explained to her how our first car buying experience had been (at another dealership) and how we were talked into purchasing packages we didnt really need. She assured us that would not happen with Eric and she was absolutely correct. From the moment we walked into his office he was upfront, honest and funny. He helped us get a better payment on the car and made sure we felt comfortable when we left. A couple days later we had to go back to Gresham to pick up the crossbars that came with the car. Betsy met us in the parking lot and not only had our crossbars but floor mats as well. She enlisted Khalil to help us put the crossbars on and he joked with us the entire time. He even gave us the tool he used! He was great. I would recommend Gresham Subaru to anyone whos interested in buying a new vehicle. They work really hard to make your car buying experience hassle-free and enjoyable.
