Whenever I can, I bring my business into this location. Its not because of the random selections scattered about the vast majority of the stores shelves. I dont go out of my way for their photo printing services. I go for the pharmacy. When you walk into this store you see the same kind of bored college kids that seem to make up the staff at every other Walgreens location that Ive been in. They are there to do their jobs and dont offer a memorable customer experience. Of course the clerks are courteous with the same corporate enthusiasm that this kind of environment tends to produce. To be fair, I know in the same circumstances, I wouldnt be a beaming ray of sunshine either. I do my business at this store because of the pharmacy staff. Not for the retail clerks that help run the registers when the pharmacy is buried with customer orders, but the actual pharmacy staff. Even when they are swamped with orders they still find time to be customer service superstars. Here is just one example of many that Ive had. Jeff is a really great pharmacist who truly looks out for his customers, he is very knowledgeable and he has a great memory too. My parents who were visiting from out of town had decided to come with me to the pharmacy. They came in with me to get a couple items while I was inquiring on a Rx. Dad had mentioned a couple of issues he was having and I told him about how great I have been treated at this location. Jeff was there that day so we decided to see if he had any insight into the issues dad was having. He really treated my parents well with patient personable service while offering a great wealth of information and a multitude of different options for each of my dads inquiries. We left armed with a plan, great information, and some recommended products. You know its a good thing when you leave a store with far more than youve planned on, and you dont feel any buyers remorse. I returned to the store over a week later to grab another Rx and Jeff was there again. While I was checking out he asked about my parents, he not only remembered our visit, but wanted to follow up with specifics on his progress. He remembered in detail my dads health issues, medications and products he had discussed with him over a week earlier. I cant even remember what I had for breakfast most days. Luckily, I had spoken to my dad a couple days earlier and he had updated me on the recommendations that Jeff had given him. So I relayed the information to Jeff and he had a few follow up care tips in return. He definitely didnt have to take the time to go out of his way for people that hes only met once and that dont even live in the area. It shows me that he has pride in his work and that he cares about building customer relationships which in turn makes people like myself into loyal customers. It is this kind of customer service that is hard to find these days, especially in corporate giants like Walgreens. This was just one instance of many great experiences that Ive had with all of the pharmacy staff at this location. I would say that the pharmacys service really shines, the rest of the store while lacking in the same polished service is always clean, well organized and brightly lit. My hope is that Walgreens will one day staff their entire stores with the same caliber of people that have provided me with such great customer service.

We switched to this Walgreens because it was closer and more convenient for us. We filled up two prescriptions and on the third they told us it would be filled Monday. On Monday they said it could be filled Friday. On Friday they told us it would be filled two weeks later. They told us the medication was available at other Walgreens in Oregon city and Gresham but there was no way to transfer its a medication to their store but we could go get it. We gave up and called Fred Meyer who had the drug on hand and they called Walgreens to get the prescription info and filled the script immediately. Walgreens staff was less than helpful in finding out why the drug couldnt be filled and they offered nothing in the way of customer service to help the situation. I guess convenience isnt everything.

Nice looking store. Light, bright and clean. Warning to those who dont fit the stereo type of overprivledged Hipster-they will probably follow you around the store and demand to search your bag on the way out. This will cause you to miss your bus home and leave you stranded. P.S. Im not a thief. Im disabled. I pay for everything. You need to educate yourselves.

I definitely like this store and the staff always helpful, specially a new employee in the name of Katie. The best and friendliest customer service I have ever seen from her not only to me but all the customers. I personally appreciate her help and would recommend you to praise and recognize her please. Thank you!

Typical Walgreens. Dont expect to be in and out though - although the company advertises their speedy checkout, the registers are slow, have too many steps, and the staff always seems baffled by coupons, which usually makes the wait time pretty long. Its faster to go to Safeway if you are in a hurry
