We support local business with our local dollars, but we expect a reasonable value for our dollar and that defects will be managed to protect the reputation of the retailer. Unfortunately, this has not been our experience when going to Dania over many years, and many pieces purchased for our home and business. You may as well shop ikea, because you cant count on quality being the rule at Dania, and you cant count on them standing behind products in the long run. We have a desk chair that appeared to be leather, but was actually leatherette. Be warned: Dania no longer carries the manufacturer and only provides manufacturers warranty. When the chair delaminated, they offered no assistance, except providing the manufacturers name and the name of the product. We also own two real leather benches that have buttons in the upholstery. They sit on each side of our dining table and get equal wear. One bench started losing buttons right away, and was replaced on warranty. As years went on, only one bench continued to lose almost all its buttons, while the other has lost none. This is clearly a defect, given the equal use of the benches. Dania no longer carries this brand, either, and will not pay for the buttons to be put back by a pro. Long and short of it is, you may as well go to Ikea, pay less, and plan for your furniture to be disposable in 5 years, because you cant count on quality to hold-up at Dania, and they will not stand behind it. You will pay more at Dania for questionable quality. Were bummed.

Found the perfect piece of furniture, but didnt buy then since I was expecting a big move. When I came back to purchase the item, it was out of stock. Thats not the worst thing with inventory so i decided to wait until it was available again. Got the runaround for two months with the estimated date for the inventory to arrive being pushed out further and further only to find out today they will not be restocking the fabric of my choice I mentioned repeatedly, they couldnt do a custom order, AND the colors I didnt want wouldnt be in for another month or so. I was relying on this piece of furniture for my move since Im moving to a smaller space, already have the paint colors and complimentary accessories for the specific cloth, and now I will have to look elsewhere.

Some of these reviews are completely unfair or perhaps out-dated. I have visited this store multiple times over the past two years and received exemplary service each time. I would walk into the store and be greeted by friendly staff who are not over-bearing but willing to help when needed. They are also not unwilling to help you get a good deal on something if you really like it. When I first moved to the area, they gave us a fancy vase worth at least $75 for free (via a mail voucher) and we feature it on our dining room table every day with compliments. Ive purchased clearance furniture that fixed up like new for extremely low prices. Long story short, most of these reviews are old. Give this place a chance and youll be pleasantly surprised.

Infuriating. We were met at the desk by a salesperson who discussed how slow the sales had been--- all we needed were 2 nightstands. Upstairs we found 2 we liked, each had an individual price -- not a grouping price -- and while they were in different areas, they refused to sell us both off the floor. Their business got even slower as they lost another sale for refusing to sell! We were the only potential customers in that huge store! Salesman explained it was company policy to not sell off the floor as they might lose sales before they got replacements back in stock. To sum it up, they might not have had another sale all day, but they refused a sure sale. What a company.

Nice furniture gallery with many different items to look at. We went in there looking for dining room tables and a sleeper converter sofa. They have lots of European furniture from Scandinavian companies and danish ones too. This means the furniture is a bit more expensive but also has some really striking looks to them. The staff was very friendly and hands off meaning they let you just shop without being in your face every 2 seconds and I really appreciate that in a furniture store. We might just be back since its really nice stuff, but in the mean time we left with estimates and catalogs and all that good stuff.

Worse service ever! The sales staff do not care about their customers at all. I asked for their help to locate a piece of furniture and they told me to look for it myself. The store was so dead and they were so busy chatting with each other and totally ignored customers. Especially the light brown, curly hair girl was the worst. She was so unfriendly and arrogant. The store manager and the entire staff should be fired. They don’t care about making a sale at all. They just don’t want to be bothered by customers.

The perfect living room and bedroom furniture at a terrific price. I went to Dania on a Sunday morning with my partner to buy furniture for our new condo. Jim greeted us and was able to give us a lot of information on custom furniture. We ended up ordering a custom sofa and two custom chairs. We also ended up getting a new bed, dresser and night tables. We shopped around at two other furniture shops that day and Dania had the best prices and, arguably, the most comfortable sofa.

Nicest salesperson ever! We arrived late in the day and the store was basically empty. The salesperson did not hound us - she gave us time to wander and check out product. When we finally narrowed it down to a few choices of counter height stools, she helped us line em up and evaluate comfort and style. An outstanding value - paid 30% as much as DWR and got a better looking, equally well-made piston stool. Thank you, Dania!

The staff was extremely helpful, and in that perfect way where they didnt hover, but were available for questions. The price vs quality of the furniture surprised me; other places I visited had more generic/cookie-cutter pieces priced the same or much higher. Also, Dania gave me a 15% discount for showing my military ID. The person who helped me was Jim, and he was very friendly and helpful.

I have never had a good experience with the staff here. They are unhelpful or overly pushy. Most of their inventory is too modern for my taste, but what I do like is overpriced. I would encourage people to look elsewhere or dont expect much when coming into this location.

The service was ok but the company policies about not selling floor pieces is crazy. I placed an order for a couch and they told me that it takes 4 months to arrive!!!! Im like wow 4 months! Thats crazy! I might not be alive in 4 months. lol

Great furniture selection at reasonable prices. Sales associates were very friendly and did not pressure into a purchase, which often happens in the industry. Highly recommend checking out the huge Dania showroom.

Not sure whether the poor reviewers on here have any idea what good quality furniture is. Danish is the best. I have been a happy Dania customer for over 20 years. Still the best selection in town.
