Although it is not an outlet , it is a perfect mall to buy. The low turnout in the morning allows you to try and find what you need with tranquility and well staffed. Highlight the Hollister store with great sales and Kohls where brand offers are good and Levis space is perfect to choose your model below $ 40 . Many stores for teenagers : american eagle outfighters , Forever 21 , Aeropostale, etc. I miss a luggage store and Macys , JC Penney and Sears are dispensable for being bad copies of originals and no outstanding offers .

This complaint is regarding the rude behavior of guest services on Dec 24th 2010 - 4:30PM. When we put that in the complain to sent to the management review, the guest services lady scrapped it in front of me and later denied services saying that I was rude. This just shows how cheap and low lying the security and guest services behavior is at new port center mall. Instead of treating customers with courtesy and respect they are treated rude and not offered services. Another group of people came after us and they were offered the same service and the guest services lady says she wouldnt offer us the service because we have filled the "tell us what you think" card. The security personnel said he had no answer and asked us to "go to another mall". I sure will follow the advice of going to other malls, instead of wasting my time and money on some morons. After spending tens of thousands of dollars shopping this behavior by the simon mall personnel at "new port center mall" shows what a cheap place this has become. I have told all my friends and they had very similar treatment recently and they stopped shopping at "new port center mall". You guys should change your behavior and the management should take a serious action against such people who dont know how to treat customers with respect. Otherwise your business will further go down.

This mall is covient & the store are ok.. Its the small store like the nail place Lavi Nail very rude and disrespectful.. You pay good money so why not get at least good service... Overly priced and thats only because the area its in, if your going to charge $30 for a manicure at least offer your clients a glass of bottle of water, the employees get treated like slaves I really feel bad & one of them have the nerve to tell me they hesitate to take clients because they know they wont tip... Isnt tipping an option??? I was taken back when they told me that, but then they also told me no matter how many clients you take its just one pay & you work from open to close, thats like 10 hours.... That place need to get regulated the Lobor Department need to visit that place cause I truly think thats illegal & just wrong. Pay your associate for the work they do!! And why is this the only mall that charge for parking??? Most of the time you cant get out ticket not reading ect... Then you have to drive around like crazy looking for help that alone is a turn off just crazy!

Avoid this Mall.First,Its the only mall Ive ever been to where you have to pay to park!!And they dont make it easy. There are no parking attendants in the lot.I put my money in the vending machine at the lot entrance and it failed to print an exit ticket.I was stuck in the lot for 45 minutes. My only recourse was to press a stupid Security Button. When the Security Guard Arrived,he could barely speak, let alone comprehend english so I felt like i was in a 3rd world country. He wanted me to pay the 8 hour amount of $40.00.He could not read my parking receipt showing my entrance time and that I had in fact paid for 2 hours parking.Only after my threatening to call the police did they let me out!! The mall itself plays Hip Hop Music at most of the Stores,& the Food Court had sticky tables and overflowing garbage cans.Never Again...

I waited a week for my appointment. The day has finally arrive for me to see the gum specialist and I was told by the receptionist that the gum specialist does not take my insurance and I should have made the appointment with the general dentist. I told her when I called to make an appointment, the receptionist I spoke with suggested I see the gum specialist because I told her my gums hurt. She also asked for my insurance information and than continue to set up the appointment for me. And too be told that they dont take my insurance and I wasnt supposed to see the gum specialist when I got there, is ridiculous and highly unprofessional. Someone needs more training. What a waste of my time. I had to leave and my mouth is still in pain.

Went here with my best friend to hang out after my birthday. It was cute but small. I had an amazing time there though. I got to go to several stores for young woman my age (Garage, Zara, American Eagle, Hollister, Sephora). I even went by Spencers lol. A lot of discounts in these stores too! I stayed there for almost 5 hours and we stopped by the cafeteria, where there were plenty of places to eat! The only downside was that the bathroom is all the way upstairs on the third floor. Also, I was looking to go to Pacsun but they didnt have that store there. But at least the PATH was easy to get to for my bestie and I got to take the light rail to the Hudson Train station. The day ended very well.

Like Jersey City, Newport Mall is going through an identity crisis. It doesnt quite know what it wants to be. Most of its shops are not going to cater to Jersey Citys downtown residents who prefer local, organic, and speciality shops,. Instead, it seems to cater to a larger base coming from other neighborhoods of Jersey City. That said, even for NJ mall standards this mall is in dire need of a reboot. Given its location it should offer better selection. The addition of the recent addition of the Cheesecake Factory helps, but its surprisingly difficult to find variety here. A light rail connection and ample parking adds convenience.

This mall is weird to me. It has so many high end stores but is littered with a bunch of disrespectful, uninterested, and obnoxious kids and employees. That might be the case with most malls in America and maybe Im just getting older but its never a place I enjoy going to. The movie theater is one of the worst Ive been to. Ive had to tell people to be quiet the last 3 times I was there. The only saving grace is the food court options. Lots of different restaurants that I dont run into often in other parts of New Jersey, and the new renovations they went through last year make it a much cleaner and nicer eaten experience.
