This has been the third of fourth time that i have experienced terrible customer service from the manager and the coffee shops staff. The manager (Kathy) walked to me today because i moved a sofa chair in front of a shelf that had book to connect my computer to the plug and very rudely stated " You cant do that, you need to move the chair back" Excuse me!! First of all the managers dont know how to communicate with people around her. She also made fun of a customer while i was standing behind her because she couldnt use the paper towel dispenser in the bathroom (How rude and inconsiderate of you). I hope she know she will be her age one day and she will not have people around her to speak of how rude she is. If this place is not going to turn around with their customer service, they are going down soon and I will be happy for another place to study than this.

Came in on a saturday afternoon knowing exactly what i needed to buy (and was in a rush). The store was nearly empty and it took 20 minutes just to get someone to help with my purchase. I could understand if the store was busy but even when RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM nobody seemed to care or notice that i needed attention in order to complete my purchase (buying nook color) Then once someone did notice, they told me i had to wait by the register! I have customer service experience myself and you NEVER leave a client unattended to.

Received a book as a present for a birthday, didnt have a receipt or know how the purchase was made and 1 of 4 people could have made the purchase. Barnes & Noble would not take the book back, the book had clearly never even been opened but the salesperson didnt even care! Will not purchase anything from B & N again---little did he know my plan was to put the $24.95 towards the purchase of a NOOK..... guess I should have thanked the salesperson for saving me the money! Amazon here I come!

If youve ever been to a Barnes and Noble, you pretty much have the idea of this place. I love to read, and while Im not a huge fan of monolithic book stores, its preferable to not having any bookstores. Buying online doesnt offer the same ability to browse and pick up random books to help you find that new thing you didnt know you wanted. I can see this store slowly growing more sparse, both in terms of customers and books. Support your local bookstore while theres still one to support!

Awesome store. Great parking, nice location. The staff is incredibly kind, courteous, and knowledgeable, and they have some cool local events, as well. Clean, well-organized store run by nice people. What more can you ask for?
