Interesting experience. I went in the store to today to look at a mower. I asked the cashier if someone could help me outside and she said she would call Ron. I waited outside for a while, mind you its 90 degrees in the shade today, and no one came. Went back inside and asked the same cashier and she acted surprised and said she would get Ron. I waited a while longer, not as long since I learned form the first time, and when I came in the cashier was gone too. A another woman asked me for help so I showed her the mower, she had no clue, but said she could look it up online. Now we all know this is a waste of time, I can do that myself an it doesnt really tell you anything, but I wanted to be polite. She went online and couldnt even find the power, that was sitting in their yard, on the Tractor Supply website. So I left, and as I walked out there wasRon hanging out at the register. By the way, there was about 4 other customers in the store so it wasnt that busy. I would have given them a zero instead of a one but it wasnt an option. Look, I can buy a mower anywhere, mower shops, Home Depot, Lowes, even Walmart for Petes sake, but my wife and I like to buy for local business, even franchise ones, to support the local economy. Hard to buy form them though when the dont want to sell. It was a Cub Cadet $1,200 mower, but I guess thats not an important sale to them.

TSC Power Plus Plans are a waste. I paid my money for the 5 years on my mower and a 4 year plan for my chain saw. The Husqvarna 54 inch deck mower was $1999 and it worked well for a few months. Of course I was thrilled when it broke down and I had the forethought to purchase the power plus plan. BOY WHAT A MISTAKE and what a waste of money. I am in rural Vermont and after a few weeks of calls they "located" a service agent that was going to pick up my unit. After wasting time for a month, the agent said they were no longer affiliated with the program. After some more frustration, a company ( Trottiers) picked it up and it has been with them for 7 months. I never heard back and now I am ready to file a claim with the state attorney generals office. I read somewhere that these warranty programs are the highest profit item in a retailers store- because over 89% dont get used or redeemed. This experience proves it all out TSC doesnt have their act together and really doesnt care about their customer. But it really doesnt matter because they just reported sales of over $1Billion dollars for the first time, and their stock is flying. BOTTOM LINE IS THEY ARE MERELY THERE FOR RURAL CONVENIENCE- GO TO YOUR LOCAL GUYS IF YOU WANT SERVICE BECAUSE THESE GUYS STINK. TRUE STORY I HAVE NO AX TO GRIND!!
They are always very helpful, Im usually running late from my job and they will keep the store open a few minutes for me so I can get my dog food. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
It was my first visit and I would definitely come back! The cashier Mimi is very helpful and friendly! Love this store !!
