Customer service is deplorable, and the manager should be ashamed of him/herself. I was trying to find, and purchase a software that combines different pdf files, and where pages of a pdf file can be arranged in any order. I asked 4 employees, and all 4 would not help me. As a matter of fact, I was walking around for almost half an hour, trying to find someone else who could help me find the item. There was none. How can a store that big not have sufficient amount of employees to help customers out? All I see is high school/college-aged employees working there , getting paid, despite not providing decent customer service. When I asked a 5th employee, he just gave me this look of disinterest. Then, after hearing through the telecom, he said that they do not carry the software, and walked away. What a waste of my time. Recently, I purchased a Dell laptop from this store. At first, it was working fine. However, as days gone by, more problems arose from it, such as having close to 100,000 handles. I tried to return the item, and told the manager (the portly one) that the laptop is defective despite being new. He told me that it cant be returned, and can only be done within the 15 day period. I kept myself under control, even though they are wrong in not refunding a new, yet defective laptop. Best Buy shows no mercy when it comes to returns/refunds. Even if you are handicapped and/or have a learning disability, they could care less. I will NEVER buy anything from Best Buy ever again, and would NOT recommend this store to anyone. I wish that Staples, which was next to this store, was still open. At least they actually cared about the customers, and helped them find an item.

This store is not for anybody who knows anything about electronics. Sure youll find a good thing now and again but overall they do not sell anything great. Every salesperson I talked to, except one, knew no more than the basics of what I was asking about. It was like they all were quoting a script made by marketing people and not by knowledgeable people. I bought a Tom-Tom there and was told it would be no problem updating it on my linux computer. That is entirely untrue, you need microsoft to do this even though tom-tom runs on linux. I was browsing through the TVs the other day with my wife and the salesman was overly pushy to the point of being nasty. I had to tell him that I was not buying and to stop talking. He still had more to say. Dont even bother to go here if you need a computer part. The minuscule selection is way overpriced and not even very good quality. Theres a mom-an-pop place up the street (towards the highway) that not only has much better prices but will get what you need if they dont have it. I priced the computers that they have by reading the specs and found that I could make a better one for about 2/3rds of what they charge. I guess if you dont know what you are doing, have little clue about most electronics, and dont mind untrained salespeople, then this is the right place for you.

Ordered Bosch 500 dish washer. They missed the delivery time. There were 100 different calls before that but none when they know that are running late. Showed up after an hour. Rescheduled and Delivered after few days now I dont have heated dry that the webaite says it is. Called customer service and they asked me to go to a store as they cant exchange this for a different product on the phone. Did I tell you that there were no real interest from customer service to modify the wrong specification about this product where as all other website like lowes, home depot including Bosch have correct details?. Went to best buy store and got really upset with two different staff members who have no clue how to handle this exchange finally had an appliance specialist help me but even he had a tough time looking at the specification of the product that he claims it is displayed correctly where I had a to prove him wrong. Now I had to wait for another 2 weeks to get the newly ordered appliance.

Ive done business with quite a few Best Buy locations. During my first visit to this location (the one Im writing about) I was greeted by friendly staff. I came to purchase a modem, and simply needed to know where they were. ... I would have called ahead to find out what was in stock but I was on hold for over 15 minutes and figured I may as well just go there. Anyways, I ask the guy at the front where they are located. He points me in the wrong direction. I try waiting in the Windows store area. All employees were busy trying to sell computers and overpriced warranties to people who are sitting in front of me price matching on Amazon. What feels like another 10-15 minutes go by. I give up and just go look for it myself. Eventually I find it on the complete opposite side of the store then where I was pointed to. Other reviews seem to confirm some of my experience. They need more staff that can work a little faster.

Unfortunately for this Best Buy... they suck. I tried to have an amplifier and subwoofer installed in my car. A job I know takes about 2 hours. They couldnt schedule me for two weeks because they have one poor guy doing all of their installations..... How can you have a store that large and offer car audio installation and expect one person to be able to handle that. I have nothing against any of the employees I would say the management here is poor and they spread their staff too thin. I went down the street to a different shop and they will be installing my equipment Saturday morning. I dont even care that Im paying more money to have it done, its not convienent to have to wait 2 weeks to have something done that takes a professional maybe 2 hours. Hire more staff and provide better service and maybe youll get customers. The only reason this store deserves a single star is because of Kevin who is a 5 star worker.

Recently purchased an open box item of surround sound speakers from this store. I was assured the speakers were in working Condition and all parts were in box. They told the geek squad goes over every item to insure its in working order. Well after getting it home I opened the box and immediately I realized the bolts that screw into the brackets were gone. I set the system up any way after I found suitable bolts or my own. However after running all wire and speakers around the room and turning on my stereo I quickly realized 3 of the 5 speakers were blown. So much for them checking that system out. When I returned it the next day all they could do for me was offer me a more expensive system at a higher price with. No discount not such a great way to keep a customer. Left that store went across the highway and purchased speakers at Pc Richards. Im thinking Best Buy will be out of business within the year!

I went in to replace the screen of my laptop. This is my experience: 1. Incompetent The first time, they said the part they ordered was not functioning correctly. The second time, the same thing happened. They realized they ordered the wrong part, twice. Another week past, they simply called me that they do not know how to fix the problem (its a LED, not LCD). I got it fixed in another store without a hitch. 2. Irresponsible When my laptop was opened in another store, they found that GeekSquard did not put my old screen back correctly (part of the old screen still works). The webcam was not connected, and something else that I do not understand. The screws were loose. You name it. 3. Incomprehensible Even though they did not fix my laptop, they refused to fully refund me, charged me $70 for "diagnostics". What diagnostics did they do? The screen was visibly broken, for god sake.
