If I could give zero stars, I would. Quick details: 2007 Jeep Patriot $6,800 (before trade-in) 138,000 miles at time of purchase $2,000 and counting for repairs and still no successful emissions inspection. -note: vehicles over 1000,000 miles in NJ are not protected under the lemon law. I purchased my vehicle from this dealer at the end of Jan 2016. I had gone here earlier in the month and looked at the same vehicle. While test driving, the check engine light came on. I was preparing to leave and the salesman (Scott) began negotiating more heavily. He suggested the shop owner may drop his price to $6,000 from @$7,000 (no promises) and that missing pieces on the car would be replaced. He read the Carfax report and said it didnt really have details. I was interested in ball joint repair as this model has problems with them. He noted that the shop had replaced them, the brakes and rotors and sone other work. I decided to keep shopping but noted the offer. After finding many deceptive listings or people not showing and receiving phone calls from New Jersey Auto Sales saying the repairs were made and check engine light off, I considered the $6k cost, the repairs and that the dealership seemed honest and friendly and returned. The previous demeanor changed and the comment that I returned for a reason was made. The price was suddenly not flexible due to the work that had been done. No parts to replace the missing ones provided (rear dome light $55 at Jeep as it turns out and tonneau cover). The manager confirmed that the ball joints had been repaired there and he added pressure for purchasing. As I started to walk away as I mentioned money was tight (it really is), the price dropped $200 and I was told the $500 I was getting for my Honda was generous. It needed work and if I didnt need an inspection and had time to work on it, I would have kept walkin...I should have. I missed the 8"x2" tear in the carpet under the courtesy paper floor cover. I also didnt notice there were not floor mats and the mat retainer was actually snapped off on the driver side. I didnt notice the smoke film and filth until I saw it in the daylight. (Scott said it was probably him when I said I thought I smelled cigarettes). I also didnt notice the rear tires were essentially bald on the ibside. I noticed the outside of all of them and although old and starting to deteriorate, still had a year. Bald-not so much. I wish I had seen the Carfax and noticed the two times it had been to the dealer for a body leak. Walked away from one with less miles for the same issue. After purchasing, I headed back home to VA (I was the last customer). Since I purchased, Ive had it to the Jeep dealer twice for the engine light. One mechanic noted that the reset of the computer by "obvious removal of the battery cable" (the positive side was loose from apparent constant removal), $1,000 later and the light is still on. I have a couple weeks left to get the emissions inspection. I fortunately live in VA so I at least have had some time to drive the car. I havent replaced the rear control arms yet that caused the tire damage. Thats about $400. Tires and alignment came out to over $700. (If youre keeping track, thats over $2,000 to just get it past inspections). I have also had two streams of water flowing out of my front dome light since I purchased this vehicle. When I contacted this place by phone and requested the work invoices for my records and noted some of the difficulties I was starting to have with the car, I got an email back with a description of the work with the ball joints being lubed, not replaced. I contacted them again and I specified again the issues and that I needed invoices and was concerned about the ball joints and in fact, generally not happy. I received the invoices only. I have not heard anything from the dealer since. FYI, vehicles over 100,000 miles in NJ are not covered under lemon law. I heard this after I had filled out most of the paperwork and approval for charge.

I gave my rating because the salesman Steve was very professional and friendly. He mad me feel very comfortable with my purchase of my 2008 Jeep Liberty. The other workers were professional as well. The atmosphere of the company was welcoming and questions were answered. New Jersey Auto Sales quality of cars are nice and reasonably priced. This was my first car purchase. I heard some horror stories about buying a used car, but my experience at New Jersey Auto Sales made me feel at ease. I will definitely recommend this dealership to others and I would come back to purchase another car in the near future. Thank You Steve I love my truck!!!

We had a wonderful experience at NJ Auto Sales. The employees were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful when purchasing our new vehicle. They took into account our needs and focused on which vehicle was right for our family. Our sales man, Steve Novin, made sure that we had a great car and that we were well taken care of. Our car needed a new coil and within 20 minutes, a parts delivery service was there with itl. Having a second car at home, they made sure I was driven home and even phoned to make sure I arrived safely. Customer service at its best. I would absolutely purchase our next vehicle at NJ Auto Sales.

I actually seen the car that i wanted on their website for a really good price. As I expected the car might not have been there by the time i wanted to purchase which was just a few days from then. So i actually came in the next day. Test drove the car and loved it. It was a little dirty, I asked if they could clean it he said yes with no hesitation. I was receiving a loan from the bank and they were not skeptical what So ever they was very patient and trust worthy. So far I am in love with my car and cannot wait to begin my journey with it. (So far) I would totally recommend this place great service.

When I was down on my luck with having no credit, New Jersey Auto Sales came to the rescue. Not only did they help me purchase my first car but they also helped me finally build some credit. They got me a great deal on my 2006 Hyundai Sonata and they have been very helpful when I have questions. I love this dealership so much Ive suggested it to many of my friends and coworkers. Even my own brother and my mother ended up getting new vehicles because of my experience. I couldnt thank New Jersey Auto Sales enough for all they have done.
