I purchased a Ford Escape from Apple, My sales man was Jake, who I was very happy with, easy to work with and went to great lengths to ensure I got what I wanted, the vehicle was located in apple valley and brought it down to Northfield. He was pretty knowledgeable about a Ford vehicle for being a Chevy dealer. The car was used and needed a little body work which with his help the dealership took care of it and will be repainting a couple small spots for me. This review would be 5 stars but on a different day, I came in trying to get my second key, since the vehicle was from apple valley, they only brought one of the keys down, I was going on a long trip and wanted to make sure I had my second key, well they end up telling me the vehicle only came in with one key (I had them looking for the second as I was willing to drive to apple valley and get it myself.) I get a call saying the car only came in with one key, The stock said it came with two, and was told I would need to go to a ford dealer to get one made and programed if I wanted a second one. I went to the ford dealer in town and to check out the pricing and they told me to go back and talk with them more because the sales stock said it would come with two, this is a $200 key.... Upon coming back, I talk with a sales manager since it looked like Jake was busy. I told the sales manager what I was told by the ford dealership, which I didnt disagree with, the other sales manager then LAUGHS! Which then they promised me if I go to apple valley ford, they would have one made for me. I found them laughing at me completely rude and is why they only get 3 stars.... Upon about to get into my car, the sales guy brings out the second key... The service department is great! I had to bring my car in shortly after for a repair to a ford related problem and they ensured me they would make sure someone who actually knew how to work on ford vehicles would be fixing it and sent me off in a loner vehicle! If you are looking for a good sales man, ask for Jake Neilson!

We live in North Central Iowa and have been looking for a specific model Suburban since March of 2016. In December of 2016, we found the variety we wanted at Apple Chevrolet and made an appointment to make the 3 hour one-way trip to see it right after work. This meant we didnt get to the dealership until nearly six oclock in the evening only a few days before Christmas! The people there were warm, friendly and welcoming, even though it was clearly very near closing time. We saw, drove and decided to buy the vehicle in question almost immediately, but it was still very far past usual bankers hours. The folks here went above and beyond the extra mile to get our loan processed and approved so we would not have to make another 6-hour round-trip to complete the purchase. By nine oclock in the evening, we were driving away with the best Christmas present of the year! The vehicle itself was amazing. Yes, older model suburban, which was what weve been searching for, due to its towing capacity. Its in fantastic shape inside and out. Even though I gave up my leather seats, I dont miss them at all! It tows like a dream. Buying an older/high mileage vehicle under such quick conditions, we expected for there to be some minor problems and repairs to be needed, so we had our Home town" mechanic look it over with a fine-toothed comb so we could fix any problems. Weve been with this mechanic for nearly 20 years and trust him implicitly. He found NOTHING to repair. Not one thing. Brakes, belts, hoses, tires - even the oil change had been too recent to justify doing it again! Everything looked great. We could not be more pleased with our "new" (to us) Suburban and plan to have many years of family RV road trips with it.

Hands down, I would never recommend any other dealership. Apple Chevrolet Buick in Northfield has by far the best service I have ever encountered. I have been going to this dealership since I leased my first car through Lee Wyatt who has always been incredibly helpful! He goes above and beyond finding great cars and trucks for many of my family members and friends. Whenever I have questions I always contact Lee because I have trust in him and know he will give the right answers. I have always recommended Lee as the go to guy because I know he stops at nothing to find the best deal at that time. He set up time for me with Larry who helped me today in purchasing a new 2017 Malibu and did a remarkable job! Everyone there goes above and beyond the expectations of what a dealership experience should be like. I set up a time to head over there and upon arrival the car I was interested in was already crisp, clean and ready for a test drive. The overall paperwork/signing is something I feel everyone dreads because it tends to be time consuming and overdone. They were extremely organized, had everything ready to go when I came back from test driving and I was out of there in no time! I have and will continue to promote my positive experiences when I visit. I have worked with them on more than one occassion and each experience continues to amaze me. Even when I go there for oil changes they are prompt and immediately welcome me, ask me how I am loving my car and I never feel I have to wait very long. They have such a great team over there and I am very happy with my purchase! Thank you Apple Chevrolet Buick in Northfield!

I found the vehicle I had wanted to purchase thru this dealership. I contacted them right away and had an offer on the table. As I am located far from this dealership, the salesman was working on a way to secure the vehicle so I would be able to make the trip to sign the paperwork. The following business day, the manager was working with me concerning the same vehicle and processing the financing. I was told that by processing my application for financing, it would act t0 secure the vehicle and it would be taken off the market. I had already financed thru a different bank, but if this would help the process, filed to finance thru the dealership. I was told the vehicle was 99% secured, the manager, John Hoyt, only needed to finish it and it would be set. During this, another customer also came in, initially to test-drive the vehicle. I was told about this which is why we were willing to buy long distance. The manager told the other customer that my financing was going thru and the vehicle would be off the market. The other customer then offered cash on the spot for the vehicle. The manager didnt even call to tell me that he had sold the car to someone else instead, my husband an I spent the next day thinking we had financed it and would be signing the paperwork until I called and as informed of the bad news. They then turned around and offered me an almost identical car for 4K more than what I had been looking at. I consider this a bait and switch and do not recommend this dealership for purchases. Very shady dealing.
