My experience is both positive and negative. As the sales people were quite friendly, they had all taken the time to talk with me. Not only about the Jeep Wrangler, but about my 86 Chevy 4WD short box. While I was patiently waiting to get a look at the Jeep, as one of the sales people had locked the keys inside the vehicle. Which is an understandable mistake, one of which many of us probably have done at one time or another, including myself. Finally after waiting for little over an hour, the sales person pulled the Jeep around to the front, as it was out back, for whatever reason. However, after waiting for a little over an hour, well I thought, or I guess I was at least hoping my valuable time would have been worth at least a little something. I told them I had really wanted the Jeep Wrangler, as Ive been looking for just the right one for almost 2 years now. And being I wanted to pay it off in full with a certified check from my bank, I had asked if I were to make a $500 or even a $1,000 dollar down payment until I could get to the bank on Saturday to get a certified check in the full amount, if they would hold it for me. Of course the answer was no, as I guess they were more worried about the possibility of selling the Jeep, rather than the customer. Which I guess is, and would have been understandable. Had I not made up my mind that I wanted to purchase the Jeep, I guess paying the Jeep off in full, rather than financing is the reason. I guess the days of wanting a satisfied and happy customer isnt as important as the sale, the all mighty dollar! I wasnt too particularly happy. Needless to say the Jeep Wrangler had been sold the very next day, (Saturday) and I had asked them to please call me if the Jeep were to be sold before I had a chance to get there. Which they didnt until later on Monday, early afternoon, so I of course assumed the Jeep hadnt sold and twas still available. So I called to make sure it was in fact still available, as I was going to go to my bank and get a certified check for the full amount... tax, license, registration, fees and so on. So even though my experience went very well, and the sales staff were friendly. As I waited for a little over an hour before they were able to get the Jeep unlocked, well as I said... I felt my valuable time would have at least been worthy of taking a $500-$1,000 down payment in a check and to hold it for me until I got to my bank to get a certified check. Which I realize I should have done on Saturday, rather than waiting until Monday. Which I would have done exactly that, had they given me at least 24 hours, not even that...to hold the Jeep with a down payment. Therefore, my overall experience is fair. As I mentioned earlier, I guess the days of wanting a satisfied and happy customer isnt as important as the sale, the all mighty dollar!

I have nothing but good things to say about the process of buying a car here. I was always leery of the "no haggle" sales concept but they had the vehicle I wanted so I decided to give it a shot. I did as much research as I could on price and found that their price was very fair. My job keeps me on the road a lot and Tyler Bair and Dan Flom dealt with me exclusively on the phone or email until I arrived to pick up the car. Both remained very patient with me and my bizarre schedule. I had to have a relative test drive the car for me and I told them I would buy it before I even saw it. I did the down payment with my debit card which was a pain for them because my bank limits debit transactions to $1000 per day which is a pain in the butt when you want to put 3k down. The finance lady (sorry cant remember her name, Liz maybe) was very patient in dealing with this. I showed up a Saturday to sign paperwork and pick up the vehicle. The whole thing was a breeze. I was given the options of choosing gap insurance, warranties etc but with no pressure. I was not pushed on anything I declined, which was so nice compared to the usual finance person who pushes you to buy because they have their eye on a new boat or something. The kicker to the whole thing is that about a month after I picked up the car I received mail from Used Car Xpress. I figured it was a piece of some paperwork i forgot or something. Instead there was a check for $41.00 in the envelope "for overpayment of license fees." They could have kept the $41.00 as I would have NEVER had a clue that I had overpaid. This was very impressive and in my mind the words "honest" and "car dealer" are no longer mutually exclusive. I have recommended this dealership to relatives and co-workers and will be buying next vehicle there as well.

The car we purchased three months ago has had several mechanical issues. We had the car approxiamately three weeks and the oil pan needed to be replaced, grateful it was within the first 30 days of purchase so the dealership paid for the repair. I have had other problems with the car and have spoken to the manager Andy. Andy said to me " you bought a used car, you should expect the engine light to be on". WOW can you believe that! I said i have had used cars before and have never had trouble like this car has given me. Within the last week, the engine light and throttle light has been illuminated on the dashboard. I just found out that the reason the engine light is intermenitelly illuminating is because the car has a cracked thermostat housing. When we took the car for a test drive we noticed antifreeze and they said they would fix the problem. They said it was just a clamp. Spoke with Andy again today and said "we fixed the problem with the antifreeze" another problem with them. But i guess since i bought a "used car" I should expect that i would have issues with the car. I will never buy anything from them!!!! They are awful!!!! And have poor product. No I am not just a disgruntal patron, i think they sell crap!!!! And i would like to save others from going through what we are currently going through. I truly think they are awful. May i suggest Auto Nation for your used car needs

2011-04-09: I drove past this place on my way to Kline Nissan on Friday afternoon. I decided to drive through because I saw a couple of the vehicles I was considering in the front row. Although I did not talk with anyone on Friday evening I returned with my wife the next morning. We were greeted by Josh with a friendly smile and an honest handshake. We test drove the Maxima that I noticed the night before. He let us take our time on the drive and encouraged us both to test it out. There was no rush. (Much appreciated!) I have been researching what I want for about 6 months. The pricing was fare and all the employees were friendly and talkative throughout buying the process. This is a used car lot owned by the Walser Dealerships. I have never dealt with Walser in the past but I stopped in because of the name. This was obviously not a fly by night dealer. They have a great variety of very clean, fare priced vehicles. If you are looking to buy, definitely stop here first and talk with them. We will be replacing our other car in the near future and we will not think twice about shopping here first. PS. and in response to one of the reviews... If you are buying used, guess what, its used. It will not be perfect. We found exactly what we wanted, drove it home that day, and the employees that honestly cared that we did and that our experience was A+. Chris - (Hugo, MN)
