A lot of great food from throughout the former Soviet countries. Prices are reasonable for some things and not so much for others (some imported alcohol is twice the price as you would find in say Los Angeles). Service is what you would expect from Russia rather than the U.S. no smiles or niceties. The nightclub music they play over their speakers doesnt seem to match their clientele and is very low-class for a grocery store to have playing. The variety is wide and they likely have something for everyone...

Friends fresh off of the boat, ie recently immigrated or Russian friend tourists find this to be a messy dump, I am so used to it by now that I dont notice any of it. The mess, the clutter is comparable to any other convenience store, it still is much better than the most of other Russian stores around Brookline. Good selection of eastern European foods and my goto place when I long for chocolate covered mini cheesecakes or caviar.

Big Russian grocery store that carries a wide selection of Eastern European food. Fresh deli packed with cheese, meats, delicious in-store prepared food, caviar, smoked fish. Convenient parking - a couple of spots in front, more spots behind the store, and even more behind the store closer to CVS. Nice bonus at the register - 3% off the whole purchase of more than $50.

Awesome place, its nice to walk in to a store where everyone speaks your language once in a while. My boyfriend and I came in before Christmas and it was very lively. The food is great, happy to see fresh produce, the ladies serving salads were nice and helpful, and the cirki are my little childhood treat as remembered.

Favorite place to shop Russian food. Half sour pickles, olivier salad in deli, frozen tart cherries, stores own eclairs, selection of rye breads, canadian all star kvas soft drink, poppyseed roll only by Brooklyn NY Kiev Bakery and Kiev Bakery frozen layer cakes is what I am there coming for!

Im not even Russian, and I love this place! фантастика! Great selection of Russian and Eastern European foods. Youll find things here that you simply will not find anywhere else. Highly recommend you check it out if youre a foodie and want to cook something up that comes from far far away.

In the market for some Eastern European food? Bazar is definitely a place to check. From prepared Slavic cousine, wines, liquor, candy and other deli favorites to Romanian, Moldavian, Ukrainian, etc. hidden gems. Also one of the few places around that you can find Kinder eggs!

Great variety of eastern European food and wine. Inexpensive and good quality fruits and vegetables. Lots of salads and bakery. Caviar and smoked fish. Saperavi and Mukuzani from top Georgian wineries. Dangerous to visit if youre hungry...

Pretty awesome choice of Russian and international foods! Deli is great! Liquor variety isnt bad. One thing I am a little disappointed is - sometimes my favorite chocolate candies are kinda old. Other than that - the store is great!

Just for the half-sour pickles and the good prices on cheese it earns 4 stars. Also a great place if you love really dark rye breads. I also enjoy browsing the vodka selection and the candy aisle for some unique finds.

You can find delicious sweets there. Really delicious. The fruit and vegetables are fresh and of good quality. You can find new and interesting things there such as pomegranate paste.

Great neighborhood supermarket with enough basic foods, a great selection of Eastern-European coldcuts, cheeses, etc, and a very good liquor department.

Good selection of Russian food. Good quality. Be prepared for dirty floors, boxes stacked up in each aisle - looks like they are constantly restocking.

You can find the Soviet republic food here, that is the good news. Bad news - However the employees are extremely unprofessional and very rude !!!!

Many products sold have expired date on them. Sometimes months. Thats too bad as this is nearly the only place to get some food products.

Prices are mid ranged, the store is long and narrow, I like this old style market, where youll find tasty Russian foods.

The best bread ever — Borodinsky bread. Napoleon cake (zavarnoi) is a must try. Perfect prices for dry fruits and nuts.

Always check the expiration date on products. Many preopened packages that look like never been open.
